Overall, this was a beautiful area. It was like going back in time to the 'old' Italy as it used to be. It was so peaceful after all the resort and over-touristed areas.

"The Hotel Murman is a hidden gem. The property has excellent views and good jumping point for Maratea. The staff was friendly and helpful. Be aware it is situated high up the mountain, the drive is spectacular though, and the road is good.It must be perfect for a family getaway, but our experience was limited to one night only, due to our time restrictions. We would love to return.
