Slice of Paradise!

The annual “Sisters and Spouses” Vacation was thoroughly enjoyed by all in this beautiful secluded slice of Paradise. This spacious exquisite home provided comfort, convenience and privacy. Everything was super clean and every detail was intentional in providing guests and an exceptionally amazing vacation experience. All eight adults agreed that this was by far our best home rental yet! Would definitely rent again.

Best house ever rented!

This was one of the best vacation homes we have ever rented. All of the furnishings (indoors and outdoors) were top notched. The house was very clean and offered plenty of additional linens for our week long stay. The home is located in a very desirable neighborhood with close proximity to grocery stores, fishing, kayaking, and Sombrero Beach. Vacasa management was quick to respond to any inquiries we had. If visiting the Florida Keys again, we would definitely consider renting this home again.

A Gem in Sombrero Beach

This house was perfect for our two families of five. It was clean and welcoming. The views were amazing from the decks and dock. Our families enjoyed the beautiful and tranquil pool area. It was perfect for when the passing Florida showers came. We just jumped out of the pool to the covered sitting area. Our fishermen enjoyed the dock and kayaks. We also loved our bike rides to Sombrero Beach and the Dockside restaurant. We were sad to leave this wonderful property.

Room for everyone + great outdoor entertainment

Over all the property & location were great!! We brought our boat, our dog and 5 adults/2 kids and it was great! The stairs took some getting use to (lol). For boaters be ware at low tide it's tight getting a 20+ft boat back to the dock. The pool was a big hit with the heat and the completely fenced in yard was great for the dog. Plenty of parking for boat trailers and lots of room for everyone staying with us. For those planning to cook please note there are no extras in the kitchen and very limited amounts of trash bags & dish soap. We bought more while there our week but there are two groceries stores very convenient to the house. Lots of outside seating plus 4 balconies to take in the view.

Fabulous stay

The home was very clean upon arrival. The covered outdoor space is great for all weather. Spacious for our multi-family vacation. Very modern and good tv and WiFi capabilities. A rough time trying to get into house upon arrival but that was taken care of within 10 min. Bikes and kayaks were used by us a lot. The pool was great for us ladies to reside while the men fished. Highly recommend!

One of the best!

Seven palms was one of the best homes we have ever rented. The location and the home were both amazing. We were a family of 7 (no couples) and only two people shared a bed. Which was great for the kids. They would have fought if they had to share a bed. The home is perfect for multiple couples as well. Each room was like having a suite. No ping pong table provided nor the golf cart. They should retake pictures without it. And omit the cart from the listing as well. But you don’t need it. Beach is walking distance and has plenty of parking spots. Each floor had AC controls which was great for those who like it colder than others when sleeping. We barely went to the beach because the pool patio was so amazing. Kids fished from the dock and we kayaked as well. Rented poles from a local shop. Plenty of towels and all that was needed. Definitely a house we would rent again should we return to the keys.

Perfect except.

Property was very clean, beds are comfortable and linens are awesome, kitchen is well equipped. They need more bath towels at least one per occupant would be nice. Canal and boat access if you have a flats boat no issue enjoy. If you have a deep V as I have a contender 25 get ready for mud and timing the tides. The lift is nice but at low tide you cannot get on it. The canal is 14” at low tide I could barely float empty. They should tell the truth about this. The home is awesome I would stay again if canal were dredged.

Christmas in the Keys

Perfect match for our family! We have rented multiple properties in the Keys in both the summer and Christmas Holidays. This was the first property that met and exceeded our expectations! Prior to arrival we had a change in plans that we felt the owner could resolve, it was a bit difficult working through Vacasa to ask a direct question to the owner. We found the owners contact on our own and then through the owner and the local property agent, Danielle, all issues/questions were immediately resolved. Check in went smoothly through Vacasa. The house layout is uniquely designed to optimize BOTH open water sunrise and sunset views from the upper floor and middle balcony’s. Spectacular! The kitchen had everything we needed. Bedrooms were beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The great room and dining area accommodated our large family very well. We had the pool heated and the weather was unusually cold so that was a definite must. The outdoor living area was key to our stay. The dock, the pool, tons of outdoor furniture, tv and bar set up was wonderful for a laid back family vacation! 4 bikes and 3 Kayaks were available for use as well. An absolute fabulous home! We would love to come back again!

Overall the property was great and very clean. Just rated a 4 based on not just usage of the pier. Although I was well aware of that from the reviews before I rented. Overall everything was great. Couple little things to correct would be to replace the wine opener which is broke( not by us) and extremely sharp at the top. If someone wasn’t paying attention and tried to use it they could slice their finger. Also outside lights and entry area light didn’t work. Must be a breaker that needs to be reset there. I didn’t look hard to find it because it wasn’t a big deal for me but just fyi for you guys. Thanks, Rodney

Tons of potential BUT!!!

We booked this vacation home 11 months in advance of our vacation. Before booking I asked many questions and felt comfortable with the answers enough to book the home. My husband and I even traveled to The Keys in My 2022 to make certain the home existed and was realistically advertised. In andvance of our arrival we paid the additional fee for the heated pool. This property did not meet our expectations! Apparently, the home had undergone renovations prior to our arrival and this created many issues for us while using the home. Issues include: Pool would not heat, we messaged them immediately and were told a pool person would be bysoon. Three days later still no one had stopped by and we had asked repeatedly how to use the pool and spa and there were no instructions anywhere near the pool area or in the home. My husband picked up over 50 screws on the patio where the ping pong table was located and the ping pong table was not assembled for us to use. We had to put it together. We had ants in one of the bedrooms and bathrooms and around the pool deck. We messaged them at 8:00 am in the morning and they didn’t get back to us until around 5:00 pm. By that time we had already gone to store to buy our own bug spray. When we would turn on the vent in the bathroom the ants would come out of the vent and crawl all over. The water in the kitchen sink could be cold or warm but not both at the same time. It was plumbed wrong. The last two days we were there one of the showers dripped all night long. Couldn’t get it to stop. Based on the photos listed on VBRO there are patio/ decks that are missing patio furniture. The upper sun deck off of kitchen only had 2 chairs and they are plastic. One of them was broken. The owner of the home has several signs on the property with their email listed for comments or questions. I emailed this address and never received a reply, and yes I checked my spam mail just in case. When we arrived the outdoor trash bins were full of construction debri and to heavy for us to move ourselves out to the curb for garbage day. A Vacasa person did come by to put the garbage out and delivered new trash cans for us to use. They have electrical outlets that are not covered on the main floor/landing area (exposed electrical outlets). They have a refrigerator plugged into an extension cord and that extension cord is plugged into a wall outlet that is not covered (so it’s exsposed to the elements). The banister from the 2nd to 3rd floor is pulling out of the wall. Several blinds were broken and some were replaced while we were staying their. A toilet lid was broken and just sitting next to the toilet, this was also replaced while we were there. I’m not a big fan of having people in my vacation home to fix things during my stay. I want to be on vacation! These were the biggest issues, for $10,000 for 9 days at a luxury vacation home this property did not hit the mark.

Beautiful Home, But Many Issues

Overall, this house was nice and very updated with regards to furnishing and appliances. The pool and outdoor living space were wonderful. We loved the hammocks. Cons: 1. We booked this house through VRBO which then turned out to actually be TurnKey which then was transferred to Vacasa. When we originally booked we were promised early check-in, but once this was transferred to Vacasa we had to wait until normal check-in time. When we arrived, we couldn't enter the house because we were given the incorrect house code. We had to call and the rep we spoke to had to go through 3 other codes for us until one finally worked. This was frustrating to say the least. 2. The house sleeps 12, we originally booked for 10, but finally had 8 guests. With that said, the house did not have enough washcloths for even 8 guests. I called Vacasa and rep told me she would transfer to "local team", but I was never contacted and this issue was never addressed. If the house sleeps 12, then it should have the towels, etc. to serve 12. 3. The pool was not clean upon our arrival. it was full of leaves which I do admit could be due to the high winds, but with that said, the pool net at the house was completely broken with a large hole in the netting upon our arrival so it certainly was not used by any staff to clean out the pool. And we had to call to get another pool net so we could clean it out ourselves. For the $$ to rent this house, the pool should be clean upon arrival! 4. We paid extra to use the golf cart. We used it for a day and half and plugged it in after each use. We are very familiar with operating golf carts as we use them often. On 2nd day the golf cart died on our way back from the beach. My husband and another guest had to push the cart all the way back to the house!! We called and were told it was the rechargable battery and it needed to be replaced, but we did our own checking and it was the outlet in the wall which was set to charge the golf cart. It had no power to it and thus was cart was never charging when it was plugged in. I would suggest updating this to make it clear to the renter if and when there is an issue with the charging station. Nobody should have to push the cart back to the house! 5. The most CONCERNING thing to us was halfway through the week we realized the owner was tracking us, using our cell phone location services through the rental provided Wifi. Our phones all notified us we were being tracked by an airtag device. Initially, we thought the golf cart itself had the airtag, but this is not the case because our underage children were tracked to Key West and back to the house and to the airport. I can understand the owner tracking the golf cart to ensure it is not taken out of the recommended limits, BUT, this should be fully disclosed upon renting the cart. And it clearly was not the golf cart but our actual phones being tracked. As a parent, I am 100% not OK with someone tracking my children without my consent (or theirs!). Its an invasion of privacy. Pros: Danielle, the property manger was amazing!! She responded immediately to all texts even on her day off! I am very grateful to her for assisting with us with all the issues we had during the week.

Perfect Getaway!

Our group of 10 enjoyed this property so much…Came in for mini lobster season and had a 32ft boat on the dock. This property was clean, came with a ton of towels, a full kitchen and plenty of parking— it was close to everything and amenities lived up to the description. We had a minor appliance issue, however, the property manager was speedy to communicate and sent over a tech right away! We were extremely happy with our visit. The only thing that could make this property better is if there was an ice machine on site. Great stay and we’ll be back!
