Mockingbird Pointe is a quiet secluded 1/2 acre tropical waterfront paradise in the heart of the Florida Keys with private heated and/or chilled 16' x 32' in ground cement swimming pool with splash deck custom Tiki hut and spectacular tropical landscaping. This two bedroom, two bath home features a newly remodeled kitchen and dining area and updates through-out the home with new bathroom updates, furniture, artwork and interior finishes. Wrap around screened porches overlooking Sombrero Lagoon and your private 85 foot protected dock with lighted fish cleaning station, underwater fish lighting, bait freezer and outdoor shower. Gentle, easy to navigate steps to the living areas. The NEW kitchen includes all the cookware and tools to satisfy the chief in you. Architecturally designed Cyprus beamed construction makes this place really special for your perfect vacation getaway. French door refrigerator, stove and washer and dryer. Eight Bikes, 4 kayaks, bait freezer and fishing poles provided for guests use. Direct deep water boating access to Atlantic with no bridges and no tidal navigation issues even for deep draft vessels.

Great place to stay

Great place to stay and the owners are very nice. This place is unique because of the nice green gardens and screened in wrap around porch. 3rd time staying here and hope to stay here again someday!

We have been renting this property for several years and really enjoy it! The owners couldn't be any nicer and communicate quickly if there are any issues which are very rare.The kitchen was also recently renovated and it looks superb!We've booked this property again next year knowing what to expect.You can't go wrong here!!!You can't go wrong

Great place in Marathon with dock!

Love staying at this property. Great dock access close to 7 mile bridge. Good place for lobstering or fishing trip.

We loved everything about this house! The tropical landscaping is gorgeous and adds to the private and secluded feel of the property. The dock was a hit. We saw fish, sharks, and a manatee. Plenty of room for our 22 ft boat. We had everything we needed and more. The host was quick to respond to our questions and truly the luckiest person to own this beautiful home

Great Vacation

We had a great Spring Break at your home. Thank you for sharing. The location was fantastic. The kids loved riding bikes and we all enjoyed fishing right off the dock catching tons of fish. The pool was also fantastic.

Beautiful location, gorgeous very clean home, owners were wonderful to work with!

Everything we needed was available in the home. We use to live in Marathon and went back for a visit. This house was a perfect option for us. We will definitely book this property for our next visit to Marathon!

Beautiful tropical getaway!

We absolutely loved the privacy and the landscaping in the back yard! The location was wonderful and the house was very well stocked! Really enjoyed having access to the bikes and the kayaks. All around it was a great time! Thank you Phil and Linda!

Fabulous property for our vacation

This was our first trip to the keys and this home was perfect. Property was easy to access, clean and had everything we needed. Pool was perfectly heated for night time swimming. Caught many different types of fish off of dock including Snook and Tarpon. Also had daily visits from Manatees which was magical. Would not hesitate to book this property again.

Tropical paradise

We loved the house and location. We felt like we were at our own tropical resort. Private and relaxing. We had plenty of room to dock our rented boat. We saw Manatees off the dock!! The pool was so warm and enjoyable! We are hoping to book again in the future!

Wonderful house and location. Everything website represented.

This property felt like you were staying at a friend's vacation home in lieu of a rental house. Phil and Linda have done a great job with furnishings, decorations, landscaping and pool. Property is well maintained. Although area was recently hit by hurricane Irma, area is recovering well. We are looking forward to returning next year!

Peaceful stay

We chose this listing as we loved the lush landscape, privacy, and shade this property offered. Additionally, it is tucked back on a culdesac so there’s not much traffic and it offers more parking than your usual house in the area. Although there are no fans on the wraparound porch, it provided a great escape for our little one who is less than a year and a very active crawler. The pool, of course, is roomy enough for the entire family and then some! Overall, we are satisfied with our stay and would recommend to others.

A storybook vacation

A wonderful property beautiful pool and home. Loved the wrap around deck perfect morning coffee and perfect place at night for a drink to wind down. We celebrated with my son getting engaged at the beach around the corner. Then a few days later he bought a boat. We had other family in town and we went to a few local restaurants....perfect The owners were helpful with everything. Wish our vacation never ended. Till next year hope to come back

Loved it!

We absolutely loved staying here. The house had all amenities needed. We spent lots of time under the palapa, which was great! We rented a boat and cruised around the canals, mangroves, and even into the gulf! While I hate to say anything negative, we all struggled with our sleep. The mattresses and pillows were very uncomfortable. One of the twin beds was pretty good, but the rest were not. Thanks to the owners for a lovely vacation!

Beautiful Marathon Home

Property was very nice and as described. We had a wonderful vacation and would recommend this property to all. We would have rated 5 stars except for the hurricane debris removal site that is directly across the lagoon from the home. The loud trucks worked off and on as late as 9pm on one occasion and also through the weekend. Besides that and the pesky iguanas which seem to think they were invited when we tried to eat poolside, all else was outstanding.

Great stay at mockingbird pointe

The property was awesome, great location to everything, private pool, bikes, kayaks, fishing and all the accessories you would need to have fun and keep active. Kitchen was well stocked. The private pool was great to relax in and tiki hut to have a nice cold drink to sit under. I even found a yoga studio near by that i could bike to. We had a great time and hope to be back in the near future. If you have any question(s) for Linda and Phil they made sure to get back to you ASAP. We would like to thank Linda and Phil for letting us stay in there home, we had a great time!

So nice we did not leave

We loved the property. The outside space is outstanding between the foliage, pool, lounge seating and tiki hut and all within view of the water. It was hot and sunny so it was nice to have both sun and shade options whether in or out of the pool. The house is thoughtfully well-stocked and had everything we needed to cook. We loved exploring the canals on the kayak and we saw a manatee. We had intended to to more activities and explore more of the Keys, but we loved the property and found it very relaxing that we did not leave. Philip and Linda were great hosts; they provided great instructions and recommendations and made sure they we knew they were available during our stay. I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay again if returning to the Keys.

Amazing property in Marathon

My wife and adult son stayed at Mockingbird Pointe during the second week in August. The property was everything we expected, then some. The initial impression is that the owners take great pride in landscaping, which was meticulously kept with tropical foliage. The pool was amazing and offered great relief from the August humidity. The table and lounge chairs placed in the shallow section was a nice touch! We rented a boat for the week and used the dock and fish cleaning table, which were excellent. The house was in a great location, convenient to Sombrero Beach, Publix, and restaurants. There are plenty of bikes to use, as well as kayaks with a convenient launch right on the property. Inside, the house was clean and had plenty of amenities. We would definitely come back to this piece of paradise!

Relaxing Retreat

Our stay was amazing! The house is wonderful! It is situated among large trees and lush landscaping making it feel private and secluded, but is also close to stores and restaurants. The wrap around porch and pool area were very relaxing. We would definitely stay here again. Philip and Linda are great host!
