"Beautiful hotel . We had a wonderful stay. Staff excellent and reception highly efficient . Great food available for lunch and the breakfast buffet is fabulous with everything you could possibly want .Need to be careful regarding room choice / allocation as some rooms look away from the property with a disappointing view of neighbouring apartments and waste area . Also some partial sea view room have a huge tree mostly blocking the wonderful view . My room was quickly swapped to a fantastic alternative with minimal inconvenience. I would highly recommend this hotel - also 5 minute walk to the Old Town which is very convenient . "

"This was our 4th time at this hotel and it didn’t disappoint. Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and excellent food and drink. Sunbeds on the beach and around the pool are so comfy. The food and drinks service was superb and the new QR for ordering/payment worked really well for us. Location is superb as 2 minute walk gets you into Marbella old town which is lovely with great restaurants to choose from. Wouldn’t hesitate in staying again for a 5th time."

I was impressed by the hotel’s sleek, modern design, warm ambiance, and exceptional hospitality. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better. Nestled right in the heart of Marbella’s charming Old Town, the hotel is just steps away from the beach, the iconic Orange Square and countless shops, restaurants, and cafes. Everything was within easy reach. The rooms were spotless, beautifully decorated, and comfortable. I especially appreciated the modern touches — excellent air conditioning, comfortable bedding, a spacious shower. The attention to detail in both design and cleanliness was top-notch. A highlight of my stay was the hotel’s rooftop terrace and pool, offering breathtaking views of Marbella and the sea. Customer service was exceptional. Every member of the staff was friendly, attentive and eager to help. A special thanks to the front desk team offering recommendations, arranging transport and always greeting us with a smile. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options to suit every taste. "Hotel El Faro in Marbella is all about location. Just one block from the beach and right next to the old lighthouse and the Duque de Ahumada promenade, it puts you within easy walking distance of vendors, shops, and restaurants—perfect for enjoying everything the area has to offer. The hotel itself is a bit dated in terms of furniture and appliances, but everything was clean and functioned well. My room had a small kitchen equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, stove, microwave, sink, cookware, and utensils, which made it very convenient for a longer stay. The beds were a little firm for my preference, but overall, the stay was comfortable and pleasant. If you're prioritizing location and value, Hotel El Faro is a solid choice. I would consider staying here again and recommend it to travelers who want to be close to the beach at a reasonable price."
