It was a very nice and covenient place to stay, but too noisy at night, there was a loud noise coming from the building very wird pipe noise it would go on and off. If you're a heavy sleeper or don't mind the noise it's a good place. Very conveniently located, close to all the shops and nice place to stay. The staff was great, very friendly Mr. Rafael. Even gave us something to snack on.

This place is cheap so we weren’t expecting The Ritz. The location is good, right in old town Marbella so you can walk everywhere. Parking as you would expect in Marbella is expensive but there are plenty of local options. Check in was simple, steep steps to the room. Room is definitely basic, TV (no English channels) small fridge which was warmer than our oven at home and no balcony or terrace. The bathroom is dated and the shower has one of those curtains that stick to you so we avoided that. There is a coffee machine but the best bit no coffee pods, milk or even a cup or glass in the room. We won’t be back.

I suppose the kindest thing to say is that The Monkey Room is a "work in progress". The hotel/hostal is right in the centre of Marbella Old Town and although it sets out in adverts to be "chic" and "cool" it has a long way to go. While I was there a workman was on site preparing another cubby hole as a bedroom and I think my room was only half-finished. The nights were cold and only a single sheet covered the bed and, after moving my room to the one in the photo (instead of on the roof) I found the aircon not up to heating the room and a washbasin without any hot water plumbed in. It rained for part of the time and it was almost impossible to get my clothes dry. The photos make it look good but "buyer beware".

You get what you pay for.

Noisy room that looks like it has not been finished. There is no light switch next to the bed or table lights. Not bad for the price but please finish decorating the room.

Für eine Nacht in Ordnung, mehr aber auch nicht. Das Zimmer hatte einen ganz eigenartig unangenehmen Geruch. Die Toilettenspülung hat nicht gut funktioniert und die Klimaanlage hat getropft, sodass der direkt daneben gelegene Vorhang komplett nass wurde (stört nicht bei einer Nacht Aufenthalt, sollte unserer Meinung jedoch nicht vorkommen). Die Sauberkeit im Bad wäre unserer Meinung auch verbesserungswürdig. Die Lage der Unterkunft war das einzig Hervorragende. Von einer erneuten Buchung würden wir eher absehen.

För någon som rest runt en del och oftast inte bokat dyra hotell, måste jag säga att detta hotell var bra. Läget är perfekt, det finns restauranger och supermarkets bara några meter ifrån hotellet, och det är inte heller långt till stranden. Om du behöver något som inte finns på rummet (t.ex. ett glas) är det bara att fråga personalen så fixar de det. Jag har bott på detta hotell två ggr och en sak jag noterade var dock att rummen skiljde sig något från varandra, trots att de hade samma pris. Första gången jag och min kompis bodde där hade vi ett mycket finare/fräschare rum än andra gången, men skulle ändå rekommendera det eftersom priset och läget är såpass bra.

Hadde et flott opphold på et koselig hotell. Hotellet ligger veldig sentralt i gamlebyen og har et koselig personell. Fikk kjempegod service av personalet under hele oppholdet.

En la que estuvimos esta última vez , el baño muy pequeño sin ventilación y en la cocina le faltaban menaje para cocinar. Por lo demas bien. Entran todos los dias a limpiar y dejar toallas, la recepcionista muy amable y atenta.

La atención de la recepcionista fue muy buena. Sin embargo, las fotos del hotel no se corresponden con la realidad (es mas bien una especie de hostal). Las sábanas aunque están limpias, son tan antiguas que da un poco de grima. La limpieza es mínima. Debajo de las camas hay mucha porqueria y el baño también tiene bastante suciedad. No vale el precio que pagamos.

The Monkey Room oli sijainniltaan loistava, mutta muuten vähän bussin alla. Pönttö ja suihku vuosivat vettä. Hotellihuoneessa oli saapuessamme mustia hiuksia lattialla ja sängyssä. Sänky oli suoraan seitin ohuen oven edessä joten kaikki kolinat muista huoneista ja käytävältä kuuluivat sisään. TV ei toiminut koko aikana ollenkaan. Ilmaiset hygieniatarvikkeet tarkoitti tässä tapauksessa saippuapusseja, likaista hammasharjaa ja puolikasta tuubia hammastahnaa.

Nada mas llegar me dicen que me Han cambiado la habitacion y que al dia siguiente tendré que volver a cambiarme de habitacion. Les pido para quedarme en la que me han dado, desde un principio, toda la estancia. Al dia siguiente salí del hotel por la mañana y cuando volvi a la tarde enontré mi habitacion ocupada. Mis pertenencias personales tampoco estaban allí (las habian sacado de la habitacion sin avisar y sin pedirme permiso!!!) Una mujer que estaba limpiando me entrego la llave de otra habitacion donde ella misma dejo mis pertenencias. Lo siguiente fue cuando me duché, con agua fria porque no había agua caliente. Llamé al hotel pero nadie respondio Al dia siguiente volvi a ducharme con agua fria porque seguia sin haber agua caliente. Y en recepcion no había nadie. En toda la estancia no hubo nadie en recepcion, excepto el viernes por la tarde a mi llegada Un servicio pesimo!!! Gracias
