"We came for a local graduation party. I was so thankful EC Reeds accepted pets, as I had no one to watch my dog. The room was spotless! There was a disinfectant smell to prove it. That mellowed out over the two days. Luxurious towels and great shower! The bed was firm and wonderful! I have back issues so I was very thankful for a good mattress. Staff was very kind. I loved the shop and diner attached. Breakfast was real and well made. Free coffee in the lobby was a great perk! Overall a great stay. We can recommend EC Reeds and will be back."

"We absolutely loved our time at The Salty Nest! The home is beautifully decorated, flooded with natural light from large windows (all of which open and shade perfectly), and immaculately clean. The kitchen is a dream—stocked with a pristine Keurig and flavored pods, a drip coffee maker with Folgers and filters, and even a French press.The recliner couch was more comfortable than ours at home, and every bed and pillow was incredibly restful. The refrigerator was spotless, the washer was top quality (not one of those frustrating “efficient” ones), and the bathroom was pristine and well-stocked.What truly sets this home apart is the underground storm shelter—a rare feature in this area. It’s accessed through the master bedroom and gave us real peace of mind when storms passed through.Another highlight? Checkout was incredibly simple—no laundry, dishes, or trash duty. Just grab your bags and go.The quiet neighborhood, friendly neighbors, and lovely backyard made the experience even better. I’d buy this home in a heartbeat if I were retiring.
