The bathroom, often an overlooked detail in beachside properties, was equally impressive: spacious, well-appointed, and more than comfortable for two. Beyond the room, the property itself truly excels. Every meal was exceptional, with food that consistently impressed and cocktails that were as thoughtful as they were well-executed. Happy hour never felt like an afterthought, but rather a daily highlight. Service throughout the property was excellent, with special recognition owed to John, whose attentiveness, warmth, and deep local knowledge elevated the entire stay. His recommendations around the town of Máncora—from dining spots to nightlife—were spot-on and added a meaningful layer of authenticity to the experience. Brian also deserves mention for his consistently great service at both meals and poolside. The pool area embodies the relaxed sophistication Qema aims for: ample shaded loungers, a laid-back atmosphere, and perfectly curated chill-vibe music that sets the tone for effortless afternoons by the water. "We had a wonderful stay at Villa Romana. The hotel is beautiful. Decorated with great taste. You feel immersed in nature. A very special place surrounded by flowers and a peaceful environment. We saw the famous Sechuran foxes five times. Our bungalow was very nice. The infinity pool extraordinary. Staff is great. You have to take the hotel shuttle to go to the beach but it is worth it. The ideal combination is to rent a car when you arrive at the airport so you can enjoy a magnificent stay at Villa Romana and explore beaches nearby including Punta Sal and Mancora. Loved our stay. Highly recommend it."

"We stayed for 5 nights while we visited our son. We had a lovely suite with an open air kitchen and seating area and unheated plunge pool that faced directly towards the ocean. The open air seating area was a wonderful place to relax. The vibe is truly Peruvian beach vibes. The bedroom is enclosed but has its own balcony for relaxing. The shower water pressure was amazing. The restaurant was incredible Peruvian food. The breakfast was also delicious! The front desk staff and restaurant staff were incredibly kind and helpful. There are many people that work there that understand English a little bit. As is customary, none of the pools are heated. Be aware of that. The beach access in high season was easy and not crowded. The hotel is a smaller boutique hotel and that is a major plus because it never felt crowded. I highly recommend this hotel. "
