"Massive thank you to Gilles and his wife for an amazing stay at this property. The photos, whilst accurate, do not do the house justice. It is truly amazing (and huge). We stayed for 2 weeks. Location is perfect, right in the heart of Saumur. Check in was easy and it was lovely to be met at the property and shown around, even when we were much later arriving than anticipated. The house is spotless and has everything you could possibly need. The indoor pool is a rare luxury, considering the location, with the added bonus of a fantastic games room with pool table, pinball and table football. You can never be bored in this house. Communication with Gilles was excellent and he gave great recommendations about what to see in the area. I really can’t rate this house highly enough. I can’t wait to go back. "

"I’m not usually compelled to leave reviews for goods and services I use but this place was so cool. It’s in the center of this amazing little midlevel town and a renovated 18th century manor but with all the comforts of a new hotel. They did a great job preserving the history while modernizing. Room and furniture was emasculate and the air conditioning was superb. The staff were very attentive, professional, and helpful. Breakfast and dining area were great! Highly recommend this place.
