"Great place to visit if you’re looking for a quiet remote location "

"Pros: Great beach; restaurant in the hotel; near the beach; great ocean view; free parking; free towels for guests to use at the beach (ask at the reception). Cons: Lots of stairs to get e to the beach; and only one restaurant option to dine in (the hotel one). But you can drive only 5 minutes to get to another town with lots of good restaurants and shopping options. Would definitely stay again here as the beach felt more private and less touristic than in other towns of the island. The restaurant service is amazing, has nice ocean view, and the food is good, but it’s a little pricy when compared to other restaurants in the island. "

"They don’t have hot water, only slightly warm. No drain stopper in the bath tub. Breakfast was good. Dinner so-so."

"I enjoyed my stay quite a lot. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was big and clean. Parking was easy. The location is minutes away from town (a 5-minute walk or less) to restaurants and the beach. Breakfast was plentiful and there were views of the island. "

"Our family thoroughly enjoyed our 5 day stay in Pomonte. The accommodation was fantastic for our family. We woke up every morning to the smells of fresh bread (10 steps away) and went to bed after eating a delicious gelato (20 steps away). The location really made our stay perfect. We only wished for a fan or a/c in the loft bedroom. It was quiet warm up there in yhe heat of summer. Thanks for a wonderful visit."

"Having read a few negative reviews we nearly didn't book here - but it was a great experience in such a grand historic building right next door to Napoleone's villa. Rooms are the small size but good."

"We had an amazing week at Villa Verde. The pool and the beach are great, and the staff was very friendly. The hotel is very familly friendly and a 15 min walk from the nearest town with great restaurants. The food at the beach was good and not expensive, but we found it was best to go to town for dinner except if you want to trade off a bit of quality/price to stay on side and eat eqrlier (finner open at 7:30 and service is very fast). I will go again."
