"We were initially uncertain about booking here due to some negative online comments; however, very happy we did! it would be difficult to pristinely maintain the property as it is historic and quite large, so if you’re looking for something with every modern amenity, this is not the stay for you. However, the property is a gorgeous setting and the buildings are quaint and charming. Our room was very spacious - a bit of noise transfer through the bathroom. Pool area is beautiful! Great breakfast with tons of selection. Friendly and helpful staff. Good location to easily access Cortona. "

"Stunning romantic hotel in a beautiful setting. Lovely rooms, gardens, and pool. The food was lovely and the staff amazing. My only complaint was an added charge for any a la carte items in the breakfast which is included in the hotel charge. For the type and cost of the hotel, this should be included."

"Beautiful stay. Location is very walkable to all of Cortona, rooms are pristine, staff is polite and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast is delicious. We loved everything! If you drive, be sure to read the directions and ensure you have a tiny car! "

"This property is just outside the town gates, making it easy to walk to town for dining options. Their restaurant is a good choice too. Within easy driving distance are great photo op places, as well as a couple of towns worth visiting. From the back of the property you can also take a couple of iconic Tuscany photos."

"Great, convenient location for when we stayed to attend a wedding. The room was clean, quiet and spacious, and we really appreciated having access to a pool on the property for a quick dip when it was super hot outside. And the breakfast was varied and delicious!"
