"This was a fantastic place to stay. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful . We had a great taxi tour and would recommend doing this. Great value for the tour. The hotel was up the top end of town and easy walk to the sites. "

"I had so much hope for this hotel but ended super disappointed and somewhat cheated. The property is a historical one and I love those places. The building is beautiful. Upon arrival we were taken to our room which is not like the one pictured when you choose the room at the expedia website, in fact all the rooms you choose show the same picture so keep in mind there is a big chance that you are not getting that room. I though “ok is not that bad” it was 3 floors down going with luggage...

"Die Wohnung war nur ein Zimmer. In der Wohnung lebte der Vermieter mit seiner Familie. Alles war dreckig. Es war eine Zumutung. Zum Glück hat der Vermieter von sich aus gekündigt Nehmen Sie die Wohnung aus Ihren Programm. Die Stimmen vorne und hinten nicht. Wir haben uns auf eigene Kosten ein Hotel für viel Geld besorgt."

"The hotel is in the middle of old Mardin, operated by a very warm family. Very "Mardin - like" accomodation in an old house for a reasonable price. There is a paid parking near museum not far away (can be full in the afternoon / evening and in that case parking is complicated). Great breakfast. We prolonged the stay for 3 nights. "
