We were very pleased with the breakfast, but the breakfast location itself is not in the hotel but in a restaurant on the main street, which is not easy to reach on foot up the stairs.Overall we really liked the hotel and the wonderful, polite staff.The hotel is like a real castle with spacious verandas and a beautiful view of the valley and the fortress on the mountain. The place is very quiet and calm for enjoying the beauty, I recommend it to everyone.

Gittiğimizde otel odası başkasina verilmişti. Neymiş onay düşmemiş. Bir saat bununla uğraştık. Belki biraz daha fazla. Başka odaya bir yatak atılıp çözüm üretildi. 2 yetişkin 2 çoçuk ile 4 kişilik yer ayırtmıştım. 3 kişilik yere sığmak zorunda kaldık. Banyo kapısı ve klozet kırık. Sadece görünür yerler temizlenmiş. Daha da rezili kahvaltı sen masaya oturunca hazırlanıyor. Oturup masada en az yarım saat hazırlanıp gelmesini bekliyorsun. O da patatesin kızarması. Küçük tüp ve tek tavada kahvaltı hazırlıyorlar. Arapçanın dışında dil bilen yok. Çay isteyemiyorsun. Neyse daha bir sürü şey. O kadar durumun farkında değil ki, "Abi senden iyi yorumlarını bekliyoruz diyor". Sakın diyorum.

Ben özellikle Eyüp Bey’e bir kez de buradan teşekkür etmek istiyorum. Konağın merdivenlerini çıkmakta zorlanan dizlerinden sıkıntılı annem için daha fazla merdiven çıkmaması adına bizi bir alt kattaki odada ( hatta daha geniş ve güzel odada) misafir ettiler. Gerçekten çok ilgililer. Otel çok temizdi. Sabah kahvaltısı doyurucuydu. Gerek menüsü gereği gerekse de Mezopotamya manzarasıyla. Mardin’in taş konaklarındaki atmosferi yaşamak istiyorsanız adres burası olabilir.
