Guiseppe the property manager was a star - he cooked for us three times and it was delicious and helped us with everything we needed. The area is also spectacular - the medeival town nearby is charming and full of great options and the house provides a good jumping off point to explore tuscany."

"Stunning property with beautiful views. Very quiet area! House was very clean and the garden was beautiful . We did not have a car , but Diego helped us communicate with the local taxi service. Taxi took us into the town of Barga when we needed and picked us up ! Diego was also very quick to respond and willing to help out with anything we needed . Great experience. Thank you !"

"A clean, comfortable villa with a fantastic view. Enzo, Host, was very helpful in getting our group settled. He even went way out of his way to pick up part of the party from the station in Pisa. We used the very functional kitchen, the beds were comfortable and enjoyed the quaintness of the Villa. Only challenge was the road up the mountain - took some careful getting used to!!"

"The house was very clean, comfortable and spacious and we never tired of the superlative views across the valley. Diego and his dad are lovely and always available when needed. If I was to suggest an improvement, it would be a little more kitchen equipment - there was no sharp knife for cooking, no collander, few wine glasses and an oven tray that didn’t fit the oven. A small point that did not detract from a great week in a stand out property. Highly recommended!"

"We were 7 people (5 adults and 2 teenagers) and we all had a very nice stay. The house was big and the pool was nice. The hosts were very helpful and met us at the house even though we first arrived at 20.30 after a lots of delay on the way. They also helped finding restaurants, supermarkets nearby and what to see in the area."

"Pure tranquility with the constant burble of the trout stream. The house is quite someway up a mountain, down a dirt track and in a valley - not for the faint hearted. Pool relies on sun to heat and the temperature was still quite fresh in June. Great location for access to Florence, Pisa, Chianti wine region, and host of beautiful hilltop towns and villages. "Our group included 2 couples and two 24 year old daughters and this house was perfect for us. All the bedrooms were very spacious and had their own bathroom. Beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of hangers and shelves for our clothing. The owner is a decorator and his home is like a showroom for his talent and taste. We even visited his design shop where we loved things everywhere we looked. "Marco and Patrizia were very attentive hosts and readily available for any questions we had. We were warmly greeted upon arrival and found a plate of baked goods on the table for us and a bottle of proseco in the fridge. The house has beautiful views of the mountains and a very nice swimming pool although it was too cold for swimming while we were there it would be a real treat in warmer weather. "We had a wonderful 3 week stay with 8 adults and later 8 adults and 2 children. The property was as depicted with well maintained pool and yard, outdoor dining area, well equipped kitchen. It is on 3 levels with connecting spiral staircase plus a loft. Sarah was a wonderful host, very helpful and responsive. "We stayed at Casa Rossa for two weeks with our kids (14 and 11). It was brilliant. The villa inside is spacious, very comfortable, and well equipped. "A lovely new & modern hotel. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the service from all staff was great. The pool area is spacious & comfortable and will be even better once the final bits of construction are finished and the pool bar is open. We dined in the restaurant each night and enjoyed the varied menu & excellent wine selection. Breakfast is also good with plenty of buffet & a la carte options. My family thoroughly enjoyed a very relaxing time here and would recommend. "
