"We stayed for a week in this property which is beautifully furnished and kept up. It is better in person than the pictures and the host is lovely and responsive. Was always peaceful and quiet - birds singing in the morning and crickets cricketing inbthe night and a great view over the hills at any time. About 20 mins or so from town so its a beautiful place to relax and get away from the city. Super!"

"The place has an excellent view of the sea and space to sit and relax outside. A couple of small towns nearby which were nice. If this is your kind of place, this is perfect. The owners were very nice and helpful. We ended up with a cold from our prior location. The owners help us to find help and cheeked on us every day. They provided fresh towels and lemons for us everyday."

"An exquisitely designed property in a charming town, near Heraklion. Although it's no fault of the hotel, GPS programs insist on directing you on tiny, steep lanes to bring you to and take you from the property. Highly recommended to not rely on GPS apps. This offers small town flavor near to Heraklion with plenty of tourist sites nearby, including Knossos. Breakfast was great. We had a few pre-season hiccups which the staff endeavored to solve. Same thing happened elsewhere. When things get busy, undoubtedly everything will go smoothly. Highly recommended, especially if you appreciate innovative design."

"1) The house is close to the beach (.3k), and easy to access and park at; 2) The contact person, Gabriela, was very kind; 3) The downstairs guest, Andrea, was a terrific neighbour; 4) The yard and area was clean and well cared for; 5) I so needed the chips and water when I arrived - greatly appreciated! Suggestions: A) The mattress for so hard I used all the bed pillows in the apartment to lay on or I couldn't sleep B) The listing should explain better that the house has 2 apartments. C) There was no sound insulation and every noise between the apartments could be heard. Does not feel private; D) It would be helpful to have a sheet of information that renters could use to understand the internet access, deal with trash, find local grocers, restaurants, farmers' markets. Thank you!"

"We loved our stay at Villa Agreilia. It is large, very comfortable, well-equipped, and the pool and terrace area are stunning. Thoughtful provision of some fresh eggs, water, olive oil and raki. Extremely good and easy communication before and throughout our stay. Stelios also sent many excellent recommendations (shops, restaurants, beach clubs etc). You definitely need a car but it is easy to get around and Villa Agreilia made the perfect base for exploring the north of the island. Very conveniently located for Heraklion airport (20 mins drive). We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay here and were very sad when our holiday came to an end. Yamas Stelios and Maria!"

"Very nice place! Excellent value. Some wear around the edges, but well cared for and great service. Room was very comfortable and clean. Pool and public areas were good. Breakfast bar was delicious with many options. Close walk to beach and main town area, but far enough away to avoid the crowd if you wanted. Great value for the price!"
