"This was a real gem. I had a single room but the bed was bigger than a regular single bed and was very comfy too. The facilities in the room were excellent and classy, including a shower that had a fine array of options and was switched on by a remote control, a first for me! Breakfast was in a lovely room and the table settings were, again, very classy. The host was gracious and accommodating including setting breakfast for me early on the day I left. All in all, I recommend highly."

"We had to delay our arrival by one day so we were very kindly switched to a Colombo 1935 apartment, without any fuss. The Colombo Apartment was fantastic, had a small balcony with a seaview, style/design was simple, comfortable, and elegant with a very well-equipped kitchen. We would definitely book it again. "We had a wonderful stay at Gitavillage. There are big play ground for kids. The facility is very big. Best is the private beach with free umbrellas. The beach is quite big and sandy. Was very quite. Highly recommend the place and will definitely stay here if we come back to this area. "
