"The property is potentially charming. It is centrally located, close to the beach, and quiet. Climbing up and down from floor to floor can be challenging, especially if carrying anything, or if you need to make a bathroom trip from the bedroom in the middle of the night. The kitchen is well-equipped with utensils, pots, pans, dishes and silverware, but not much in the way of cooking essentials (salt, pepper, oil, coffee, tea, etc.) It was also quite damp throughout (the dehumidifier required...

"The rooms and amenities are new and clean. But the standing shower lacks a space to put your toiletries. There should be a stand or box to put it. Otherwise you put it on the floor. The owner speaks minimal English. Not very helpful."

"Casa do Vale Cabo is a true work of the heart. The landscape changes. And time slows in this special part of Portugal. The food tastes better. The air is lighter. You can breathe and be nourished. Our lodgings were immaculate. Our view was exquisite. The most special thing though is the amazing humans who hosted our stay. We came in strangers. And left friends. "This is a fraud. When I arrived the house was already occupied and the owner never answered. After one hr of waiting one lady came and took me to her house 20mins away and charged me 40 euros for one room with broken shower no any other facilities. The lady said the owner is out of portugal never could get the answer from him. I denied the regund from the owner. Dont book here"

Hotel Estrela de Fatima

10/10 Excellent

"This hotel is perfectly located across from Our Lady of Fatima. The front desk staff spoke English and made us feel welcome. Our room was bright, spacious and spotless. The bed was comfortable with plush pillows. AC was great and quiet. The shower was large, water pressure and temperature perfect. Even the towels had a lovely subtle fragrance that made one feel pampered. Complimentary bottled water, coffee maker with tea and coffee. Breakfast was not free but a reasonable price. Bacon, eggs (both scrambled and hard boiled), small sausages, cheeses, cold meat, cereals, breads, croissants, fruit, juices, packaged gluten free choices and different types of coffee, tea and hot chocolate. The serving staff were excellent and helpful. The pool was small but not overcrowded. Lovely library and space to play chess in the lower level. Paid parking was offered in the underground parking garage. I would highly recommend this hotel and would certainly stay there again. It was a pleasure staying at Hotel Estrella de Fatima. Thank you!"
