"We planned a girls trip for July 4th weekend and needed a mountain getaway to refresh our mountain-loving souls! This was the perfect cabin for us, it was very clean and cozy. The location was great. And Tamara was an awesome host, and communicated so well. We are so thankful for this opportunity to stay here! We recommend this cabin for anyone who finds their peace in the mountains! "

"Check in was a 2 hour affair with conflicting and incorrect instructions. I had to make multiple conference calls while my kids were screaming at the museum. They ended up sending us to their spare key...The biggest issue here is that the entire wall facing the mountains is glass (which is stunning),but the HVAC that's there now simply cannot handle the heat and the sun that bakes though all day. We arrived to an 83 degree house and it only got hotter. I was on the phone with management for hours upon arrival. I was told to use box fans, I was told "well the previous tenant left the AC off", I was told to turn on the split air units in the rooms and leave the doors open... and I was busy with this the whole trip. The house "cooled down" to 76 overnight (it's 70 outside at night) and went right back up to mid to upper 80's in the daytime. I strongly suspect that ownership knew ab this because there are box fans all over the brand new house. Additionally, there are these nifty little wifi thermometer gadgets casually placed all around the main floor.To their credit, I was offered to leave and stay elsewhere, but it simply wasn't feasible. So staying was the best option, but we had most of the family sleeping downstairs squeezed into 2 rooms bc downstairs was cool. They also dropped off a huge fan a few days in, but it didn't cool down the space at all. House is magnificent, it's a shame that they didn't get the HVAC right. I'm sure it's stunning in the other seasons"

"I was in the area for work and needed a simple, affordable place to stay. This fit the bill perfectly. Though small, it’s thoughtfully laid out and very cozy. I stayed 4 nights and plan to stay there again when I return to the area. "

"So glad we found this beautiful property. Nested in the hills of the NC Mountains close to Lake James. We had a large family and the house didn’t disappoint. The views are spectacular, something for all ages and the little touches are so thoughtful. Game room and pool table were a hit daily and our pups enjoyed themselves too. We will be back!"

"Cabin was the perfect size for our family, situated in a gated neighborhood. We maybe saw one or two people the whole time. My son loved fishing in the pond on the property everyday. The game room was great along with the hot tub! "

"House and property looked great. NIce and secluded with beautiful views. The kitchen is well stocked and has all of the basics for meal preparation. They also gave ample soap and paper goods as well. 5/5 would stay again. "
