"This is a delightful family owned hotel. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. The room has an in-room coffee maker and refrigerator. There was a hair dryer and nice toiletries as well. The microwave, vending machines, laundry facilities, lending library, and area information were in a common area. The grounds are well maintained and had many beautiful plants. The pool and hot tub are clean and well maintained. Towels are provided for pool and hot tub use. The staff is warm and helpful. The hotel has a tasteful gift shop. The hotel is next door to some fenced in Chincoteague ponies which you can feed with food they have for purchase from a dispenser. There is a roof observation deck which is accessed by a narrow spiral staircase. There is also a workout room and sauna available for use. Breakfast is simple (chosen from options the night before) and delivered to your door during a window of time you select. Coffee is also available just off the main lobby. The hotel is quiet and comfortable. Many thoughtful touches. We will be back. Highly recommend!!"

"Our hotel stay was absolutely fantastic! The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the entire property was clean and well-kept. We especially loved the pool area—it was relaxing and perfect for unwinding. The pier was another highlight; we spent a lot of time there enjoying the views and fishing. Everything exceeded our expectations. We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great getaway!"

"Pros: Easy check in. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Room & bathroom were very clean. Cons: Initially my husband and I only had one face cloth, two hand towels and a bath mat. Missing both bath towels and a face cloth. This was taken care of immediately by notifying the front desk clerk on duty. All in all, very enjoyable stay. Would recommend."

"We were greeted immediately upon entering the hotel. The first thing I noticed was the walkway entrance was spotless. We noticed it was hosed down and scrubbed each morning. What a difference it makes. At any time of day, the receptionist at the front counter greeted us. All too often in the past, the hotel employees AT OTHER HOTELS acted as if it’s a bother to hand you another towel, to answer a question, or to even say hello. The hotel was clean. The continental breakfast offered was filled with many choices. The indoor pool was clean. The walkway deck outside facing the water was very clean and offered a relaxing view. It’s been a long time since the family has stayed in a hotel where the price, cleanliness, receptionist, and accommodations were all top-notch. This place fit the bill!"
