"This property was heaven on earth for me. After a few stressful months, a 5 night stay in this wonderful farmhouse on some of the most beautiful, peaceful property I've come across in the Midwes, is exactly what my soul needed. We loved walking the property with our dogs, sitting under the shade tree for coffee, reading, and relaxing while hearing nothing but the sounds of nature.I loved spoiling Dexter and the cats. I saw such an incredible variety of birds during the day, and the star gazing at night is was the perfect way to end each day Jill and Jim are just the kindest people and such sweet hosts. I took a weaving lesson from Jill and I highly recommend doing that if you have the time. Not only did I discover just how much I love weaving (new hobby unlocked!), i thoroughly enjoyed our conversations. Thank you so much for sharing such a special place with us. This is a vacation I'll never forget. "

"My wife really liked the rustic feel of the place and was impressed with how clean it was at the same time. For me, it felt like a retirement property that I’d had for years, it was very welcoming. We didn’t take advantage of the water (kayaks, fishing, etc..) but we had friends over and used the grill to cook. We’d take our dogs outside in the back of the house and there was never any problem. The point of this stay was to visit friends, watch old movies, relax, and do some studying, it was a great choice."

"We arrived Friday night, the description was spot on, the house was pretty well stocked with everything you’d need. The place was clean and everything was nice. We just needed a place to stay for the weekend and it was perfect for a family of 4. Rebecca was very responsive to messages and her husband Derek was helpful with information about the property. We are planning on coming back in June and hopefully many more times when we are in the area. I even got to hear the turkey’s gobble early Sunday morning! "
