"My advise stay away!! Book somewhere else This property should not be rated as a 4-star. It is maybe a 1 star. There was no mini bar. The USB plugs did not work and the door handles had fallen off. The room was misrepresented in the photos - there was no balcony door - just one tiny window. Had we known what we were booking we would never have booked this hotel. It also did not feel safe at all! We did not stay even one night. We booked another hotel and left. When we tried to get reimbursed for just ½ the amount it cost - as we thought that was more than fair - we were not able. The hotel never even responded to us. Not even a courtesy of a reply My advice - stay away! Book somewhere else!"

"Great hotel. It’s a short cab ride from the old town. The area around the hotel is a huge harbor and university. It’s a nice walking town. The football stadium is an easy 10 minute walk from the hotel."

"The staff were incredibly helpful in arranging airport transportation and restaurant recommendations. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable! Location was perfect and enjoyed our 3 night stay!"

"A lovely hotel. The room was clean, and we had a huge balcony with a partial sea view (between some other buildings). The staff were very helpful & friendly. Something that people with restricted mobility (such as myself) may wish to consider. The hotel is part way up a hillside and the final stretch of the road is quite steep. There is a bus stop nearby, but you still have that final bit to walk. However we used an Uber from the hotel door to/from the centre of Split. Only a few minutes drive and very cheap (we usually paid €3.95). I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"The receptionist was very helpful and let us get int our three rooms early after an early flight Split. they put a bottle of fizz in my room as I was celebrating a big birthday which was lovely. The hotel was up a slight hill but very easy to walk five minutes in to the harbour and old town. Lovely boutique hotel with lots of character. The safe didn’t work in my room, which she was open about. And the shower in my downstairs ran cold most of the time, where the other two rooms upstairs had lovely hot showers. The outside door to our part of the hotel (6 rooms in our wing) was left unlocked. It probably would have helped to know they deliver clean bedding. Etc in the small hours. Having heard the outside metal frame door creek open at 430am several times I don’t and hour and a half thinking we had random people in the hallway as I hadn’t heard them go up the stairs. A great price for a lovely hotel. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again. "

"The room was great, and the staff was helpful and clear with instructions. I really liked the bed and the room's size. The property is also well renovated, and you can clearly see they are trying to elevate it to a true hotel, not some place that is very money-focused and does not bother working on the property itself. "Amazing location within the walls of the palace. The hotel is right next to several ancient sites so if your plan is to see Diocletian’s palace and be close by to the city centre then this is an excellent location. The room was good and clean and the staff were helpful. The shower layout in our room was a bit odd (you had to hold the shower head as the holder was very low and could not be raised) and the breakfast was fine but could have been better. Had a great time and enjoyed our stay."
