"The staff were very friendly and helpful. Checkin was very quick. Upon realising we booked a smaller room by mistake, we were upgraded to a more spacious room without charge. Overnight parking is free for guests.
The room was spacious and clean and was serviced daily with clean towels. The temperature was good and complimentary robes were offered to us.
The hot water didn’t work in our room on the penultimate day. They offered to change room for us but we declined. Instead, we accepted the offer for us to shower in another room until they had fixed the problem.
The Bar and restaurant had a nice chilled atmosphere, although the bar opening time was a little later in the day so it wasn’t possible to order a coffee in the morning but coffee is served in the restaurant with breakfast.
The sauna/spa was great too, a perfect way to end a long day sightseeing but can be busy. The gym is small but complete.
The location is excellent as it is only a 10 minute taxi drive from the centre which is very pretty and where you can find many restaurants for meals. Sainsbury’s is just next to the station which is also 10 mins drive from the hotel.
If you don’t have a car there is a local supermarket just down the road.
The airport is just 20mins away in the taxi.
All in all, a fantastic 5 day stay with nice staff.
I can highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again. "
