Check in was easy. Room was quaint, comfortable and clean. Nice to have access to a small shared kitchen. The most lovely area to bike around and visit. Loved it here. Our host was very friendly!

The room was cozy and in a great location. What a welcome break from Amsterdam. The hosts were friendly and offered an amazing breakfast. The hosts do not live on site, so it will be helpful to have a phone in order to call them upon arrival.

Had a very wonderful stay at the B&B while visiting friends in Marken. Stayed in room 4 on the second floor, which was very spacious and had a private bathroom. A breakfast buffé was served everyday at a restaurant close by, just a short walk from the hotel. The owner was very nice and accomodating. Will definately return.

The host is a very professional, pleasant and helpful. The rooms are cleaned daily, as well as towels changing. The village of Marken is a beautiful quiet place, one hour by bus from Amsterdam. Breakfast is plentiful, quality ingredients, nothing fancy but with sorts of food for everyone. The only drawback are 2 sets of narrow, winding, steepy stairs, but you get to use to it and the wonderful host is helpful with bringing your luggage to your room.

We werden allerhartelijkst ontvangen. De tassen werden voor ons naar boven gedragen. We verbleven in een heel gezellig Marker huisje, dat was bijzonder leuk. Het ontbijt de volgende ochtend was heel lekker en uitgebreid.. kortom: een fantastische B&B!

De Pepersteeg: Een aanrader voor Bed en Breakfast!

Het verblijf was prima. Netjes en schoon en het beddengoed en handdoeken roken heerlijk fris. We hadden een kamer op de tweede verdieping. Badkamer delen met andere gasten. Dat wisten wij. Wat heel prettig was, dat op onze verdieping op de gang een toilet aanwezig was. Het ontbijt was top. Verse warme broodjes, gewoon brood, crackers, eitjes, jam,hagelslag, ham, kaas, cervelaatworst, zalm, jus d'orange, koffie en thee. En was het bijna op, dan werd er weer aangevuld voor de gasten. De gastheer was bijzonder vriendelijk. Heeft ons bij aankomst meegenomen in zijn bus naar het verblijf en daarna naar het punt van de fietsverhuur.

Het was een fijne grote kamer die netjes was verzorgd. Ook de badkamer was nieuw en modern ingericht. Voor mensen die slecht kunnen traplopen is het een beetje moeilijk om op je kamer te komen.

3 jours autour de MARKEN (PAYS-BAS)

Ce Bed and Breakfast se trouve au cœur de la petite ville de MARKEN, les chambres se trouvent à coté de l'église et nous prenons le petit-déjeuner au bistrot tenu par le même propriétaire. Village typique et très joli. Il est interdit de circuler et de stationner en voiture sans un badge d'autorisation. A votre arrivée, passez au bistrot pour récupérer un badge visiteur que le propriétaire vous fournira. Le petit déjeuner est très correct (Pain, viennoiseries, saumon fumé, café, thé, etc.) . Vous pouvez déjeuner ou dîner au bistrot ou sur une des terrasses des restaurants du port (très joli) (Il existe une notion de DINNER (repas plus "raffiné") ou LUNCH (FISH and CHIPS, poisson)), personnellement nous apprécions les LUNCH car le rapport qualité/prix est meilleur. Beaucoup de touristes entre 09H00 et 17H00, puis le village se vide, vous pouvez alors vous promenez dans les petites rues, n'hésitez pas à faire le tour de l'île en passant par le phare. Concernant la chambre, propre, fonctionnelle. Cuisine partagée à disposition, café ou thé gratuit, boisson à disposition à régler lors du départ. La région est magnifique (waterland), canaux, jolis villages. Nous avons visité HAARLEM (belle ville), ZANDAAM (Moulins). Très bon séjour aux pays-bas, accueil chaleureux.
