"A group of 8 of us wanted to get away from Chicago for the weekend and enjoy a fun lake weekend! John and Stephanie's place was just that!The place was perfect for what we wanted and had plenty of space! The backyard was huge and the deck / fire pit area was awesome. We also rented a pontoon boat while there and it was great having a place to dock up overnight.Out of everything, I would say the friendliness and communication of the hosts was by far the best part. They were speedy and helpful with everyone!10/10 recommend this place if you are looking for a fun weekend get away!"

"This is a property that is worth every penny!! Great host. Right on the lake! Don’t skip renting the pontoon boat and hit all the fun stuff in the adventure shed. Loved paddle boarding and kayaking!! The kitchen/dining area is massive and easily accommodated our group of 22. Love having the bedroom suites to give everyone a space to take a break. Game room was a hit when we weren’t on the water, and the fire pit at night was great for the family to hang out.Endless fun, incredible memories. And everything was so easy to check in and communicate with the host. A real gem…we will be back!!"
