"The room was very clean. There wasnt a lock on the bathroom door which didn't bother us but might not be the same for someone else staying in our room. The staff were amazing as always. "Very clean and friendly hotel. Staff are great and breakfast is fantastic. New menu is a little bit weird, lack of healthy options and inability to cater for special diets. Gammon is awful. Never a problem before. However, this place is still excellent."

"The hotel was beautiful, with the add Christmas feel. We stayed for one night, for a visit to Burghley House Christmas Market, it was perfect location. Dinner and breakfast was good, however a little expensive. The room was warm, cost and had all amenities needed. The only complaint, was the bed was a little hard. We would definitely recommend a visit to the Haycock Hotel. "
