"Airport shuttle was great, although left earlier than advertised. Clean rooms but first room was used and we had to request a different room. The hotel was a bit out dated- the place across is mite guo and cheaper!"

The location is excellent—super convenient for getting around—and the room itself was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Everything from check-in to the facilities met our expectations. However, there was one interaction that left a slightly sour note. When I approached reception to ask for a recommendation on where to have mussels (as it’s something Belgium is well known for), the staff member directed me to a Chinese restaurant instead. I found this response a bit surprising and, if I’m honest, it didn’t sit quite right with me. I may be overthinking it, but it would have been more helpful (and appropriate) to be recommended a local Belgian spot, especially when specifically asking for a traditional dish. That aside, the rest of our stay was lovely, and the hotel itself is a great base for exploring Antwerp. "
