"Great location, helpful hosts. Property a little tired in parts with upgrades an ongoing process. Some areas need early attention and a welcome pack of essentials, which we would happily pay for, would be useful. Adding WiFi would also be great."

"I booked this cottage as it was a very good price for a one night stay. I’d recommend as it was in a very peaceful area, with a lovely pub that does nice food about a minute walk away. The only downside to the properties area was the internet connection, as data was struggling for connection. The hot tub was brilliant, would recommend to make sure you burn wood straight away as it takes a while to warm up. It was a very cosy night and I’d definitely recommend and even come back again."

"No welcome ' pack ' not even a bottle of milk. Light fittings missing. Main bed the worst ever experienced. The central heating did not work, we sat in overcoats and blankets. Heating set at 16deg. in the middle of winter !Hostess indifferent , realised her responsibility, refused to speak to us and told the agency to ask us to leave due to heating problems and her concern with her insurance Gave full refund but our stay to be near our family was ruined due to lack of maintenance. "Everything was perfect a lovely getaway"

"Beautiful quaint little cottage next to the river. Parking was a bit restricted as the roads are very narrow and busy around the property. Opened the door to a very strong damp smell that greeted us upon each return, had to open a few windows. There wasn’t any ventilation in the kitchen or bathroom which could be contributery. The spiral staircase could have been made safer by adding grips as the small wooden steps were very slippery. There was no toilet paper or bin bags/liners or a tea towel...

"Very tidy cottage,ideal for a visit to the national arboretum. Lovely dog walks along the canal,property is set in a pretty village with very easy access."
