"Really friendly staff and an amazing room "

"Wow!! The White Hart is a super special gem in a historic building. My room and bathroom were large and decorated to a high standard and the bed was fantastic!! Every member of the staff were so friendly and welcoming and you can tell they all enjoy working there. I added breakfast to the room rate and there were so many choices to choose from. If you are a breakfast eater, this is something you should consider. There are also numerous bars in the hotel and the bar staff were fantastic too!! The hotel location is amazing and literally steps from the cathedral and steep hill. Highly recommend The White Hart hotel and I can’t wait to return very soon!! "

"Hotel is beautiful from the outside. Staff were very friendly & welcoming. Plenty of parking. Pool was great! Room was clean & beds very comfy. We had a twin double room. Breakfast was lovely, plenty to choose from. Only criticism, walls a little thin & could the person in the room next door coughing & being sick! Otherwise really enjoyed our stay & would recommend. "

"All staff I encountered where exceptionally friendly and helpful with good knowledge of local area. Lovely choices of full hot and cold buffet breakfast. Fantastic evening meals in the restaurant, though limited choice if staying more than two nights. Amazing location just a few hundred yards from the Cathedral and Castle at a reasonable price. Very clean comfortable room overlooking the Cathedral with everything you need. Best sleep ever! Definitely returning."
