"Lovely hotel and great service. We were down for 2 nights with our dog. Pet friendly hotel, lovely grounds for us and the dog. Very friendly service and location. Had to pay on site parking which was not ideal but is pretty standard I guess in that area."

"Lovely hotel. When arriving the staff were friendly and helpful as we were there hours before check in. The rooms are basic with toiletries but very clean . Alcohol was reasonability priced as we expected higher prices due to it being a wedding venue. For the price with breakfast and free parking it was spot on. We was able to leave the car and get a uber into York which was between £15-£20. Would definitely stay again. "
