"Perfect location inside the old city walls, next to the famous picture you see everywhere online. Staff were friendly, rooms were nice. Within walking distance of everything. They offered parking, but we'd already parked in a public lot, but it seemed convenient. Breakfast was good. Our shower wasn't the best. Had to hold the shower head, as there wasn't anywhere to hang it high enough to use it hands free. But it got the job done. Wish we'd stayed another night it was so pleasant."

"I'm sure there might be friendlier hotels in the world, but I don't see how. This was, by far, the friendliest staff I've ever encountered. Everyone was helpful and exceedingly polite. The rooms were great and comfortable. They had AC! Breakfast was fantastic. Communication was great. All reasons to give the hotel 5 stars. But then there's the location. Just steps away from central Rothenburg and less than a minute's walk the the market square. 5 stars ( but only because I can't give it more). "

"Staying at the Hotel Herrnschloesschen was one of the best experiences we had while traveling in Europe. The room was amazing. Quiet (overlooking the gardens) with an amazing staff. Welcome drinks upon arrival and an amzing breakfast the next day. "
