"Uns hat es in dem Häuschen gut gefallen. Schön wäre noch eine einfache Kaffeemaschine (da war früher wohl mal eine Kapselmaschine da) und ein Sichtschutz in Richtung Spazierweg. Die Lage direkt am Stadtwall ist schon besonders. Leider war das schöne alte Städtchen Iphofen zu unserer Besuchszeit (Ende April) wie ausgestorben. "

"Perfect location inside the old city walls, next to the famous picture you see everywhere online. Staff were friendly, rooms were nice. Within walking distance of everything. They offered parking, but we'd already parked in a public lot, but it seemed convenient. Breakfast was good. Our shower wasn't the best. Had to hold the shower head, as there wasn't anywhere to hang it high enough to use it hands free. But it got the job done. Wish we'd stayed another night it was so pleasant."

"I'm sure there might be friendlier hotels in the world, but I don't see how. This was, by far, the friendliest staff I've ever encountered. Everyone was helpful and exceedingly polite. The rooms were great and comfortable. They had AC! Breakfast was fantastic. Communication was great. All reasons to give the hotel 5 stars. But then there's the location. Just steps away from central Rothenburg and less than a minute's walk the the market square. 5 stars ( but only because I can't give it more). "
