The villa is spacious and well appointed, we cooked and ate inside and outside and marveled at the views from so many windows and balconies. Marco was a friendly and patient host, we had several requests prior to our arrival (he helped us organize a celebration luncheon on Monte Isola), he provided prompt and helpful responses and met us on arrival to show...

Went so far as to get up early on Sunday morning herself to make 2 trips to take us to the train station because she is just that nice person who was happy to do it. A lovely person all around. The villa is so neat and spacious my wife and 3 teenagers had plenty of room to spread out relax and feel and home and get straight into the lake life. From the Villa we could walk to everything you needed to see all of the Lake."

"Villa Montagne e Lago is a fantastic villa in a beautiful location. Stunning vues across the lake from the garden/pool area. Very clean and well equiped, would comfortably sleep 6 people. You definately need a car to be able to explore the surrounding area, 1.5 miles from nearest main road up a very steep winding road. Would definatley recommend, perfect place for a family holiday!"
