It was our first time in Marquette and we loved it. Beautiful scenery, walkable, lots of dining options, bars, distillery, etc. Presque Isle is so close and it was awesome - we were even inspired to jump of off Black Rocks with the college kids!

Marquette is home of a beautiful mountain called Sugarloaf. I highly recommend if you are physically fit enough to do so, climb the mountain! The view is spectacular and you can see all of Marquette from up there.

Very cute little college town. Make sure you go to presque isle and check out the black rocks. There are tons of beaches and a lighthouse as well as a Main Street shopping district.

We really enjoy Marquette. Variety of shopping, nature trails and waterfalls nearby, we've always felt safe there. Good restaurants, we're looking forward to Jeffrey 's restaurant reopening. We come up from Wisconsin often.

"The hotel opened in December 2024. It is all new and nicely decorated. The personnel of the hotel was very nice, and did their best to accommodate our schedule changes. Excellent breakfast and good location that is a 5-minute drive from downtown Marquette. Highly recommend this hotel!"
"This hotel on the waterfront was absolutely lovely. The staff was super friendly and attentive, and the accommodations were the best one could ask for. I rarely go into a hotel pool or hot tub because they are often not well maintained, but this was literally the best pool and hot tub you will find in any hotel. The breakfasts were delicious and the service was second to none all around. "
