"I wasn’t there much for my stay. I did have a little trouble at check in. I booked through Expedia and they couldn’t find my reservation. I showed them the information from Expedia and then they found the reservation."
"We love this little cabin! Perfect for a couple. As long as you can climb stairs to get to the loft, and don't mind walking outside to get to the really nice bathroom, which is in the basement of the main house, I highly recommend this place. We have stayed here a number of times and will definitely be going back again!"
"I loved this hotel by the Mississippi River. Room was a delight, chose bluff side. Some complain about train noise, only heard one during stay. Breakfast I’d rate as excellent with many choices including fried eggs, potatoes, sausage, waffles and assorted breads. Only downside was limited parking but we always managed a spot. Overall, very good."
"The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly. We really liked the room decor, and everything was very comfortable. We attempted to use the bathroom hair dryer, but it instantly smelled like smoke when we turned it on - so we opted to not continue use. The main lock on our door wasn’t functional, but thankfully there was a chain lock we could latch. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and would come here again."
"The check in was strange. It’s “no contact” so there is no staff on sight. We arrived at 7pm and the place was completely deserted, which was unnerving. We got into our room with a code for the door.
The room was clean. Bed was a little uncomfortable and the bathroom is small but, the view was pretty and being the only ones at the hotel, we sat outside and played our guitars under the stars and enjoyed ourselves very much."
