"We've just returned from a week-long stay and had a lovely relaxing time at the villa. Jo and Aurelie met us on arrival and gave us a good tour of the property, answering questions along the way. They kept in touch regularly over whatsapp as needed, and Jo attended to cleaning the pool and hot tub almost daily. The villa is beautiful and everything has been thought of. The pool and hot tub were our favourite! We brought our dog so it was reassuring that the property was fully fenced and dog bowls and towels were provided. The villa is very private too, and there are lots of beautiful plants and trees making it possible to both sunbathe and take shade when wanted. Its worth mentioning that the villa is in the mountains so, although most of the drive there is on regular roads, it takes a short ~15mins mountain drive (some narrow and winding roads) to reach the villa. There were quite a number of different insects (flies, wasps, beetles, crickets etc) so although it didnt generally disrupt us, its worth being aware of that as we had to make sure to keep the doors and windows closed to stop insects getting into the villa. There are a couple of small villages nearby and Prada is the main town (with shopping facilities) at the bottom of the mountain. We did a least a couple of visits to the supermarket to keep the fridge well stocked as its difficult to find things within walking distance of the villa. Overall a lovely stay and would recommend!"

"I stayed for one night on a cycling trip. I was very happy with everything. Nadia met me at the door and explained everything nicely. She was able to provide secure storage for my bike around the corner from the property. The room was smartly furnished and a generous size. The breakfast, as noted by others, was delicious and extensive. It was a pleasure to share it with some other guests. Shops and centre ville are close by. I would definitely stay again."

"Lovely little house with everything we needed and an amazing cactus garden. Fantastic views and the village itself is beautiful. We were blessed with lovely weather which helped. Great location to explore from or just mooch around the village and surrounding hillsides. Footpaths are also good and easily accessible (perfect for dog walking). Hosts very considerate and informative. Loved it!"

"It is a wonderfully charismatic house and feels like a happy family home. Its far from your usual IKEA identikit Air B&B rental and so much the better for it. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking at home. There's lots of space to relax. It has the most wonderful terrace looking out to Mount Canigou, perfect for eating, drinking and relaxing. Everything in Prades is pretty much in walking distance. We found the double bed in the master bedroom small, but it was such a beautiful room to sleep in we didn't move to one of the many other bedrooms. We had beautiful September weather. A really special weeks holiday. We'd love to go back."

"Having really enjoyed a week's stay last year, it was great to extend that to a fortnight in 2023. Superbly appointed property with a terrace that commands one of the best views in France. Perfect again in every way and I hope to return again in 2024. Ayant vraiment apprécié le séjour d'une semaine l'année dernière, c'était formidable de prolonger cela à quinze jours en 2023.
