Absolutely loved our stay at Riad Dar Dada. It was an absolute dream come true. The Riad was absolutely breath taking, and the staff (especially Fatiha and Hisham) absolutely MADE our entire trip. They made us feel right at home and took care of absolutely everything. Meals, spa services, cooking class in the riad - I would visit again just to stay in the Riad. The pool is stunning, the beds are comfortable, AC and heater work fine, robes - the whole nine yards. Incredible home made meals by Dada every time we asked for food…snacks and desserts. Fresh squeeze juices!! absolutely love this place. Please book you won’t ever regret it.
Fatiha was an amazing host. We were unsure because we couldn’t find any reviews online but turns out Fatiha (after working in riads for 25 years) has only just opened her own riad - 20 days before we stayed last weekend. The riad was beautiful, clean and had a fantastic atmosphere. The roof terrace is a lovely place to sunbathe or have your breakfast, or if it’s too hot you can eat inside downstairs. The bed was so comfortable and we slept very well - our room had no windows which is typical in a riad so it was super dark. Breakfast is included in the price and it was delicious - we had something different each morning and it included fresh orange juice, coffee, French toast, pancakes, yoghurt, Moroccan bread and fresh fruits. There is the option for Fatiha to cook lunch or dinner for you which we didn’t do because we wanted to explore (but it smelt delicious). The rooms don’t have keys or locks but Fatiha is on site all the time so it felt very secure and our room was cleaned and tidied daily. There is also a massage room onsite so you can have a massage if you give 1.5hrs warning for about 450 dirham for an hour. Fatiha was incredibly attentive, gave us the most delicious biscuits on arrival and she makes divine mint tea!!! We would recommend without hesitation and will stay with Fatiha again if we go back to Marrakech. Thank you Fatiha!!
Good points: Nice clean riad. Courtyard was beautiful. Breakfast was good. Great cleaning service. Muhammad, the helper, was excellent. Very nice rooftop.
Bad points: No wall between toilet and the room we stayed in, which was very odd and quite uncomforatable. AC cooling was okay but not the best. Fare from airport to riad was very expensive. I think this should've been mentioned beforehand by the riad. You can easily reach the riad from the airport for 100 MAD, rather then the 250 MAD which they charged.
Overall good experience. Will visit again
