I need to be refunded. They did not accept us and we did not stay and had to leave. The reason was that we were accompanied 3 girls (cousins and friend), and they asked us for a marriage certificate even though I am American and my nephew was Canadian. We had to leave in the middle of the night (almost close to midnight) looking for another hotel instead of going out to celebrate the new year. Since we did not stay, we need to be refunded.

The best parts of this property for us were: 1)The location,though quite remote felt totally safe in beautifully landscaped gardens full of singing birds and a peacock all within a tranquil setting of vast greenery and gorgeous sized outdoor swimming pool 2) The staff were always polite and could not do enough to help you. What I would improve on is the breakfast variety each day ( perhaps yoghurt / prunes, cheeses with bread and loose fruit that you could help yourself to. Also and some piped/background music throughout main riad would've been more inviting especially at night when sometimes eerily quiet.

Terra Mia est un très beau Riad, près de Marrakech, tenu par une propriétaire très sympathique qui est très à l'écoute et vient régulièrement vous demander si tout se passe bien. L'endroit est magnifique, très propre, très calme, et très bien conçu. Les photos ne mentent pas, c'est même encore plus beau et apaisant sur place. Le personnel est aux petits soins, et le chauffeur privé est top et conduit très bien (ce qui mérite d'être souligné, la conduite n'étant pas le point fort de nombreux taxis à Marrakech...). Au niveau des points négatifs: ce qui nous a le plus dérangé mon amie et moi concerne le matelas du lit qui n'était pas confortable. Nous en avons discuté avec une autre vacancière qui nous a dit la même chose. Je pense que c'est une chose à laquelle il faut remédier. Autre déception: la piscine n'est pas chauffée et était glaciale, malgré un temps magnifique (plus de 25 degré et grand soleil en plein mois de mars, le rêve). Mon amie n'a fait que se tremper les pieds dans l'eau pendant une semaine. Quant à moi, j'y allais juste quelques secondes une fois toutes les 30 minutes pour profiter ensuite du soleil sur le transat. Peut-être qu'elle est plus chaude en avril/mai/juin, quand la température est encore plus haute. Mais en l'état, c'est difficile de se baigner et nager ne serait-ce que 15 minutes. Pourtant je ne suis pas frileux :) A part ça, c'est du tout bon, même la cuisine est de qualité (je vous recommande les couscous et les tajines du jour).

Services au top, transferts aéroport inclys, navettes 2 fois/jour pour le centre de Marrakech. Si vous recherchez le calme, la discrétion cet endroit est fait pour vous. Le raid est chaleureusem décoré, la cuisine maison est savoureuse. A recommander.

Nous avons passé un séjour au TERRA MIA. C’était un séjour agréable. Points positifs: - beau RIAD, propre, aménagé et décoré avec goût. - belle piscine (nettoyée le matin) - calme et tranquillité de l’hôtel - personnel aux petits soins - navette gratuite pour se rendre en ville (chauffeur sympathique et arrangeant pour le point où nous souhaitions être déposés Points « négatifs »/ à améliorer: - Bon petit déjeuner, seulement nous nous attendions à un buffet. Nous n’avions pas faim après le petit déjeuner mais nous aurions souhaite un peu de salé car le pdj est seulement sucré ... - l’hôtel est très calme mais un peu loin tout de même (15km du centre), donc si nous souhaitions rentrer plus tard que l’horaire de la navette (20h), nous devons prendre un taxi (15€) - l’hôte fait attention à ses clients mais un peu froide, elle n’est pas toujours sur place, donc lorsque nous avions une demande, nous devions attendre sa venue - jolie chambre mais pas de « kit » comme brosse à dent/ dentifrice/ shampoing/ sèche cheveux (nous en avons demandé tout de même un que nous avons eu par la suite) - certes nous n’allons pas en vacances pour regarder la TV, mais c’est toujours agréable le soir d’en avoir une - pas de prospectus/ carte ou autre de la ville de Marrakech Je recommande cet hôtel pour les personnes souhaitant le calme et la tranquillité, nous avons passé un bon séjour et avons fait de belles rencontres (belge, allemand, français...).

Great relaxing hotel

I stayed at Terra Mia with my wife for 9 days. This is a great hotel which is a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech town centre. Maliki, Omar and the rest of the staff are very friendly, and were attentive to our every needs. The hotel itself is a beautifully designed riad and set in a quiet area east of Marrakech with view looking onto the Atlas Mountains. The breakfast was good and the food at dinner was always delicious. The only recommendation I would make would be that some music in the evening during and after dinner would add to the ambience/ atmosphere (there was the occasional night where it felt deadly quiet in the evenings despite people having dinner in the same area). Other than that I would recommend the hotel to other travellers and would happily stay there again myself.

Un lieux calme et agréable

Un bel bel endroit au calme après des journées intenses dans Marrakech. Un service de qualité avec un personnel adorable. Un petit bémol sur l’accueil à l’arrivée où nous avons vu personne pour nous indiquer le fonctionnement du Riad (repas, service, navettes...). Je recommande cet hôtel pour sa sérénité, son calme et sa restauration de qualité.

Hotelanlage mit wunderschönem Garten

Die Gastgeber Malika und Omar waren äusserst freundlich, zugänglich und hilfsbereit. Die Hotelanlage mit wunderschönem gepflegten Garten liegt ca. 20km ausserhalb Marrakesh und ermöglicht Entspannung nach einem Besuch in der äusserst lebendigen und vollen Stadt.

Hotel im Garten- Anfahrt zum Zentrum beschwerlich

Das Hotel entspricht nicht den Bewertungen der Online-Portale. Es liegt in einer schönen Gartenanlage, leider zu weit vom Stadtzentrum Marrakech entfernt. Das Personal des Hotels ist nett, aber unprofessionell- es ist kein Hotel, sondern ein Guesthaus! Die Zimmer verfügen über eine Klimaanlage, die zum Heizen verwendet werden kann, ein Fön gab es nicht auf dem Zimmer, wurde aber auf Nachfrage zur Verfügung gestellt. Ein offensichtlich schmutziges Handtuch wurde vom Personal nicht ausgetauscht. Die Glühbirne einer Nachtischlampe brannte durch und wurde obwohl diese neben die Lampe gelegt war, nicht ausgetauscht. Das Hotel an sich ist im Winter nicht geheizt und daher eiskalt. Es kann nur mittels einer kleinen offenen Feuerstelle geheizt werden, die die Räumlichkeiten nicht wärmen kann, daher frühstückt man im kalten Haus, analog sitzt man abends in kalten Räumlichkeiten. Das Hotel bietet einen Shuttle-Service einmal morgens und einmal nachmittags, um ins Zentrum zu gelangen oder nachmittags und 20.00 Uhr abends um zum Hotel zu gelangen- Wenn man zu anderen Zeiten ins Zentrum möchte ist dies aufgrund der stadtfernen Lage teuer, insbesondere auch, wenn man abends nicht im Hotel mit Daunenjacke beim Essen sitzen möchte. Das Frühstück ist in Ordnung, entspricht aber nicht den Erwartungen eines Hotels mit 4 Sternen.

Excellent customer service

When we arrived at Terra Mia Marrakech the owner Malika kindly met us; a system error meant she wasn’t aware of our reservation on Expedia and didn’t have the room we have already paid for on Expedia. She gave us an upgrade to luxurious room in a private riad. Dinner was delicious and breakfast lovely in the cool air by the pool. We would be thrilled to return!

Close to Marrakech, very relaxed.

About 12 km from Marrakech and with regular shuttles this is a very relaxing place to stay. Each villa has a pool so before or after a visit to the city one can cool off. The Riad doesn't have a reception so doesn't feel like a hotel. Even for the few days we spent there it was a good idea to be able to escape the city and find some peace in the lovely quiet grounds, with the mountains visible in the distance.

Great Riad!

The Terra Mia is a fantastic Riad. The staff were helpful, attentive and mostly made our holiday memorable. The rooms were comfortable, food delicious and general atmosphere of the hotel relaxing. The manager Hakim, ensured we were happy and well looked after, he organised our day trips and also a surprise 40th birthday celebration with traditional Moroccan musicians, food and ambiance. We highly recommend the Riad for anyone who wants a hotel that is away from the hustle and bustle.

Un bon séjour

Bon séjour, quelques petites choses à améliorer: frigo trop petit et pratiquement pas d'eau courante dans la cuisine, un lave linge serait utile pour un long séjour.Les villas privé sont idéales pour les familles.
