"This comfortable, well-appointed apartment is within easy walking distance to the cathedral and the historic center of Perigueux. With bedrooms and bathrooms on opposite ends, it would work well for a family or two couples. The apartment is quiet and very secure. We appreciated having a private parking place and direct access to the small park next to the cathedral. The street market in front of the cathedral was a treat. Isabelle was charming and very helpful. We highly recommend this apartment...

"We thought this place was wonderful. The living/dining room was well appointed and the kitchen had everything we needed. There is a balcony looking over the ruins of the nunnery and the town. Bed and bath were very nice, and I appreciated the washer. Caroline was helpful, and brought peaches from her garden: delicious. One caveat: 2nd floor means "climb 2 long flights of stairs"."

"Lovely hosts. The property living space is small, but a large bedroom. No garden area with the gite just the owners garden so no sun loungers. Nice place to sit immediately outside the gite though."

"We spent an enjoyable week in Trémolat and exploring the surrounding areas. The pool was lovely and a welcome relief from the heat as well as a lot of fun for the kids. There is plenty to do for families within an hour’s drive (or much less), such as canoeing, cycling, Les Bois des Lupins, some pretty villages, the Lascaux caves, beautiful Sarlat and some castles. We had a couple of very nice dinners in Trémolat. The apartment was clean and generally well equipped for self-catering, although...

"If a little piece of French countryside is what you are looking for then this is place is for you. We enjoyed our stay though did not utilize the property to its full potential. We used this as a base to visit the caves and tour the surrounding area. Unfortunately we did not have the time to just relax here. Next time. Jacqueline was awesome. We would recommend."

"We have had a disappointing experience with this vacation rental. All four of us have suffered from bed bugs. We initially thought we were dealing with mosquitoes. But the bites got so big and painful that it wasn't until later that we realized we were dealing with bed bugs. We complained about this to the landlord afterwards and it seemed only reasonable to us that they would refund half as our holiday enjoyment was seriously ruined. We have not received any response from the landlords."
