"The Villa was lovely, spacious, clean and the 6 of us had all we wanted, bedrooms and bathrooms each, even an extra bathroom. The pool was great too, real suntrap. We used the local bars and restaurants, all good, particularly D-Bar and Ta-Vestru. The little supermarket behind the church was great, an Alladins Cave! "Lovely property, very clean. Pool fantastic for children. Pool shared with 2 other properties only. We hired a car and this was certainly helpful to get around easier. Melita was a wonderful host and a great communicator. Would highly recommend to stay."

"Lovely to stay with Ray and Maria again; we were last there thirty years ago when our children were small. Apartment 2 is comfortable and spacious and the pool deck is surrounded by palm trees! The weather was mixed so we caught up on Amazon and YouTube series some evenings. The Santa Maria Estate is a peaceful residential area a short walk away from Central Mellieha. We used the running track most days. We hope to return and thank Maria and Ray for sharing their lovely villa with us."

"The property is very clean and has beautiful views. The host lives at the property and provides a lot of assistance and really wants people to enjoy their their stay. He is very involved and always around. There is a small pool kids can enjoy. We liked staying in the area away from all the crowds. You can get to a bus stop but if you can drive that would be much easier, the bus system is pretty slow."

"Our host Melita was wonderful to deal with. Attentive and helpful, Melita was informative about her home country, responded quickly to our needs, but also respectful of our privacy. What a lovely lady and great host - we would stay there again ! It's also within walking distance to a handy grocery store and lots of great restaurants. The pool area is quite special and as the other 2 units were unoccupied, we had the whole area to ourselves - this is where we enjoyed our Mediterranean breakfast...

"Nine friends rented the home for a week. The view is breathtaking and the home has 5 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. There are lots of restaurants nearby and Bolt will pickup and take you anywhere for a reasonable price. They are clearly redoing some things in the home and either it is incomplete or the workmanship is a bit shoddy. House needs a new dishwasher as well as glassware. "Was looking forward to our first family holiday with our children and grandchildren to celebrate a member of the families "big" birthday and was very disappointed on our arrival. On the website the villa was advertised as a "villa" but realistically it was four houses attached to each other with flats below!!
