"Good location in middle of an area bustling with people, locals and tourists. The area near the old harbor is charming and has many restaurants with outdoor seating. Our room had a twin bed with a sleeper sofa. It was priced okay but was a little small for a family of three. However we did not mind that for a one night stay. The restaurant next door is excellent and convenient. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I loved Lou, she was very helpful to us and helped with our delayed luggage issues."

"Overall very satisfied with the property, we are especially grateful of the staff there, she offered to do laundry for us because there is only washer in the apartment while there are both washer and dryer in the front office. everything is well maintained. we will certainly recommend the place to other travelers."

"The location is very good, right near the metro and useful bus stops. Rooms are big and comfortable. Cleaning can be improved. The A/C didn’t cool so they moved me to a different room that was slightly cooler but still too warm. Breakfast room has nice view of the port and nice staff. The selection is moderate. Overall a nice hotel, but AC should be replaced."

"Great location for us, was quite noisy at night and early morning but it didn’t really bother us. Room was really spacious and clean. The communal areas of the hotel are in need of an upgrade to match the rooms. Overall great stay and would recommend if you want to be right in the Port area. Rooms would benefit from having a small fridge for drinks as well"

Mercure Marseille Centre Vieux Port

"This hotel was pretty good, overall, but the AC wasn’t strong enough to keep the room cool. I was also grossed out that the bed didn’t have a protective mattress pad on it. It was literally just a flat sheet directly on top of the bare mattress with no waterproof barrier in between. On top of that, the flat sheet wasn’t big enough to tuck in under the mattress so it didn’t stay in place throughout the night. Not using fitted sheets on the bottom is one of my biggest pet peeves. I hate when it get loose and wrinkled under me."
