Marsh Harbour’s waterfront can get noisy from the bars, especially Snappa’s. I loved the location on Pelican Shores which was more remote.

"I’ve been to exuma and Nassau and Abaco is far superior. The food for some reason is as good as south Florida as opposed to the other islands where even at fancy resorts it was mediocre and overpriced. The people were super nice and professional. The hotel is old but it’s clean and my room was fine. ..."

We did not have a boat and I think the only way to really see the Abacos is with a boat. We did use the ferries once but found the scheduling and access not as convenient as we had anticipated. Lots of walking necessary.
