"Wonderful place to stay. Quiet. Our first day I heard something on the front porch. It was a goat and a sheep. That was a nice welcome. My Boston Terrier loved the back yard but he thought the deer that visited daily was a dog. We have a mastiff. Every thing was clean and had every thing we needed to make our stay comfortable."

"Ronnie's place was perfect for a weekend retreat! Our group of 12 fit comfortably in the space and made good use of the pool and jacuzzi. Ronnie was extremely friendly and communicative before and during our quick stay. He was also kind enough to help us set up the jacuzzi at night and even helped make a fire so our group could do s'mores. "House was great for my bachelor weekend. My group of nine 27+ adult men, had a no problem sharing the many beds, and were more than comfortable. Only 2 showers was the biggest short coming of the property. The kitchen was more than adequate for the many meals we cooked at the cabin, and the large dinning room table could accommodate our group of nine for meals and board games. The cabin was a short drive from Marys Rock Summit Trailhead in Shenandoah National Park, a nice hike to mix things up...

"This location is perfect as a base camp for exploring the area. The host was really nice and has outfitted the old cabin and its newer addition with everything you'll need. The host lives next door but is not visible from the cabin, so it feels woodsy! A big plus is that leashed dog(s) are welcome with permission from the host. Mountain roads, woods, starry sky, hidden driveway, tight parking area, table and chairs outside all lend a quaint and peaceful Blue Ridge atmosphere. We loved it!"

"The cabin had everything we needed for a wonderful, relaxing vacation to reconnect with our adult children. We were amazed at all the amenities and the attention to detail. We enjoyed evenings in the hot tub, grilling, and relaxing with games by the firepit on the back deck. In the mornings we watched the deer and their fawns wander through the backyard. We highly recommend this cabin. While we stayed with all adults, it is very appropriate for children also."
