"Everything was perfectly adequate. Nothing was remarkable in any way. The best praise I can give is that the bathroom door was solid with a lock that worked, unlike the more premium hotel chain that has translucent barn style sliding doors, with no way to fasten them shut."

"The Salamander resort is breathtaking! Spectacular property. The staff was always willing to answer questions or to help in any way possible. Our room was clean and very comfortable. I was so happy to see that it is pet friendly. My only complaint was that guests left their dogs in their rooms while they were out. I heard a few dogs that were clearly distressed at being left alone. As a dog owner, it really upset me. The guests should be required to not leave their pets alone."

"tiny tiny room with no closet- not sure what the “resort fee” was for- but it was in town and by a trail so that was nice. Was definitely not worth what we paid- but they get you with convenience i guess… very clean room."
