The only reason we gave it a 4 star overall was due to the fact we had no hot water for hours on Saturday. We went hiking in the morning and just wanted a hot shower upon returning. I was a bit hesitant to book it because it was a new listing with no reviews yet, but I took a chance because the photos were appealing. The house is beautiful! It’s a little sparsely decorated, but that didn’t really matter to us. It’s a 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath which we were looking for to all have our own rooms and baths. 2 of us ended up sharing a bathroom because the 3rd full bath is 2 floors down where there isn’t...

"We loved the location of the house. It was a quick drive in to Asheville, and we were very excited that you could walk out of the door and be only a five-minute walk from the Mountains-to-Sea Trail along the Blue Ridge Parkway. The house itself was comfortably furnished, and the hot tub was great. The kitchen has the basics in terms of cooking implements, but guests need to bring their own staples."

The steep road, driveway and spectacular deck view with its drop off was a bit scary to some members at first, But all adapted quickly and it was no problem as the view had us all mesmerized and the location was so convenient to everything we wanted to do. The kitchen had everything we needed. There were lots of places to sit inside and out. And the views were magnificent. In addition, the barn with corn hole and darts was so much fun! It has made it to the list of favorite rentals for our get togethers!"
