The room was huge and furnished nicely. The hotel itself is very well cared for and kept updated. As long as you can get up and down the stairs, it is a great place to stay in Marshalltown. We ate at the Tremont Grille one morning and that was great as well. We will definitely stay there again when we come to town.

I do appreciate the historical value of this hotel. The couch was uncomfortable and sinks super low. The light in the living room did not work. No parking on Main.

Great location and very clean and very comfortable rooms. Common areas were cute too. Located walking distance to restaurants, bars, etc. so very convenient.

The Tremont is a classic, a historic hotel renovated in original style. Just 1/2 block from the the beautiful county court house and main square, its a real treat. The Tremont on Main (Restaurant) is fantastic. Stayed there while bicycling across Iowa, highlight of the trip.

A wonderful surprise

The room was lovely: comfortable, spacious clean. The owners were attentive and friendly. The restaurant was excellent. I cannot recommend this highly enough and will definitely stay here again.

A beautiful historic building in the middle of downtown Marshalltown. We loved our room It was enormous! Very clean. Beds were extremely comfortable. The only issue we had in 211 was the air conditioning. Highly recommend. And will stay again!!
