"Great hotel overall. The staff was generally attentive and professional. However, I did experience one uncomfortable incident where I was asked to give up my seat for a group before I had finished my drink, and no alternative accommodation was offered. There appeared to be plenty of available seating elsewhere, so this interaction was surprising. Aside from that, my stay was very pleasant."

The food is excellent and the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The entire hotel is well appointed with fresh rooms, amazing mountain views and shuttles to the area ski lifts. "Just got back from a short stay at Vigilius Mountain Resort and it completely lived up to the hype. Taking the chair lift up to the hotel is such a cool experience, and the next one up to the hiking trails is incredibly serene — quiet, peaceful, and with some of the best views you’ll find anywhere. The food and wine were excellent, the staff were warm and attentive, and the whole place has this calm, design-driven atmosphere that feels both modern and timeless. The architecture and interiors are stunning — kind of like something straight out of Mad Men. Wish I’d stayed longer."

"I really enjoyed my stay in the apartment adjacent to the inn. I had a fabulous time but wished the restaurant was open for dinner although the front desk helped order me a pizza that was delivered. I will definitely return as it’s a lovely place to stay and spa. "
