McKenzie Bridge River's Edge Retreat, a cozy cabin on over two acres

"Peaceful and Private, Pet Friendly Cabin Retreat on McKenzie River, ORWe absolutely loved our stay at this cabin on McKenzie River. The location was wonderfully peaceful and incredibly private, providing the perfect getaway. The house was very comfortable for our party of two, along with our small dog.Every feature of the cabin added to our enjoyment—from the beautiful skylights that let in natural light to the cozy, comfortable seating. The master bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring restful nights, and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals during the stay.The circular driveway on the spacious 2-acre lot made coming and going effortless. One of my favorite highlights was the deck facing the rushing river, where I practiced yoga surrounded by the soothing sounds of nature, which truly enhanced the experience.Each evening, we took peaceful 50-minute walks just off the property. The forest views were breathtaking, and we didn’t see a single car, which added to the sense of tranquility. There are so many choices of trails and lakes along 126 that added to our adventures.Overall, this cabin was a perfect blend of comfort and natural beauty. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Oregon."

"Wonderful property right on the river. Very well appointed with everything you could possibly need. Not far off the highway but no traffic noise. Very private and peaceful. Great full kitchen. Comfortable mattress in the bedroom we slept in and peaceful rest. Large deck with gas BBQ, fun looking down on the river. Would surely stay again."

"There was a lot that we loved about the stay. It was quiet, on the river, and quaint. There were a couple things that could have added to the comfort level including reliable WiFi access and an exhaust fan. Once we used the shower, the humidity inside was persistent to the point that the bedsheets were damp."

"Cabin is cozy. Loved the fireplace and front porch - you can hear the river if the windows/doors are open. Walking to the pub /market for dinner and live music was amazing. There isn’t really any access from this cabin to hang out by the river. Very basic stock of blanket and towels - plan accordingly. Master bed is pretty old / stiff / uncomfortable."

"Price was great as we took advantage of an Expedia discount and weekday stay. Lovely little rental, quality provisions, great location. Little confusion regarding TV which seems to not have reception, but movies were available on DVD. We would love to return one day and stay again."
