"Cottage is a days drive from England in North Loire region so not as well known. We had plenty to do visiting historical sites, old villages and wine tasting! It was very quiet and peaceful and the owner very helpfully marked a map with interesting places to visit. We were unaccustomed to en-suite arrangements formed by curtains"

"J ai de base loué ce logement pour moi et mon collègue pour la semaine . Sauf que le propriétaire sous loue en plus son logement. Nous nous sommes retrouvés à 6 dans le logement a payer une location qui de base doit être réservé pour mon collègue et moi . Nous sommes arrivés le Samedi 04 Mai à 14h par temps humide, nous aurions apprécié que la maison soit un peu réchauffée avant notre arrivée. Nous allumons donc le chauffage. "Lovely gite, very large with a number of bedrooms arrived very late at night so the welcome pack of food and drink was a nice touch. Bedrooms comfy and issue with heating was resolved the very next day, called straight away by property owner. The living room fire was well used and logs provided. The location is really good and we felt very at home there. We would stay again."

"Traveling France we were looking for something about 1/2 way between Normandy and La Rochelle. Hoped to find quiet spot in rural France to drop in and do nothing for a couple days. Hike, eat and soak in hot tub. The house is located too close to the highway to be considered remote rural, and traffic noise is present all day long. We slept with bedroom window open all night, traffic does stop in the evening, but the trucks and traffic are out rolling early the next morning, ,,,no sleeping in....
