"The hosts, Maria and Victor were awesome! At our request, Maria had the kindness to cook for us 3 of the 4 days we stayed at their beautiful place. She’s an amazing cook! We enjoyed the best meals at a very reasonable price. I would recommend this place to everyone looking for a countryside experience in Portugal. They also have a beautiful pool and pool area. .everything was amazing!"

"This was a magical stay. One of the closest homes to the castle. This unit had the most comfortable beds. Outdoor space is plenty with amazing views. Parking is attached and included, made unloading so easy. We felt like the only visitors, but had a few dining options. Definitely try the tapas place right next door and the Ginjinha bar was great for desert and drinks. My family can’t say enough good things about this stay."

"If you have a large family that requires multiple rooms this is the place. When I booked I thought it was a property that had multiple residences. It turns out it is one residence with multiple rooms that shares the kitchen area. "

"We had the great pleasure of staying in this beautiful home for only 2 nights. We wish it were more! Nuno and Lidiya are wonderful hosts and made sure we had every comfort we needed. The house is amazing, clean and spacious with beautiful stone architecture and artwork. There is every amenity you need and more. Tous les équipements mis à disposition (notamment la climatisation) fonctionnent parfaitement. Le site de Dornes est tout à fait exceptionnel et idéalement placé au coeur du Portugal. La beauté des paysages et la richesse des sites dans un rayon de 80 km en font un point dedépart parfait pourles excursions et visites. merveilleux endroit !!"

"The property and hosts, Luis and Helena, were all that was advertised and more. A very beautifully appointed 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment, with a private outdoor patio. The yard and pool are very picturesque and a perfect place to spend hot afternoons after sightseeing around Tomar. For sleeping, the cool, quiet and dark bedrooms were perfect. Highly recommended, especially in the warmer months!"

"We chose this hotel as unlike most, it had a pool - infact 2, 1 inside and 1 outside. We had a great room - large with seating area and a view of both the pool and the castle. Superking bed which was very comfortable. Disapponted no iron available. It is, by comparison to others in Tomar, a large hotel and whilst its used by coach tours its quiet whilst being in easy walking distance of the beautiful town and its attractions. There's a good choice at breakfast although the coffee machines take ages. The hotel don't seem to promote the restaurant for evening meal so we didn't try it. Would stay again "
