"Janet and Chris were very welcoming and the property was clean, nice decor and well furnished, an ideal size for a couple or even with a child. It was a great base to explore a part of France that we were unfamiliar with and our dog was well catered for with nice walks in the area and also from the cottage."

"This is truely a splendid location to enjoy the Brenne's amazing rich nature: red deer, wild boar, red fox, a great number of bird species. They can all be seen around the house and in the etang and forest in the 'backgarden' of the beautiful house."

"Gîte confortable, parfaitement équipé et au calme, on n'entends que les oiseaux. Très bien situé à proximité des villages et châteaux de la région. Hôte très accueillant. A noter, l'escalier pour monter à la chambre est très pentu."

"We had a wonderful holiday in this spacious gite. The pool was a big hit with the children and a perfect escape from the heat ! The location is set in acres of stunning scenery, yet you aren’t far from bakeries, butchers and supermarkets etc.. Local wine and produce is very good value and Relais Routiers close to the gite were superb for lunch, 4 courses including wine for just €13. "Un gîte fonctionnel, spacieux, idéal pour un sejour en famille. Regrettable cependant de devoir dormir dans des lits avec des lattes de trop petites, inadaptées aux sommiers et qui s’effondrent plusieurs fois par nuit.... "

"We had a fantastic stay at this lovely home in Val de Loire. The house stayed cool despite the July heat, and the fenced garden was perfect for our two dogs. Janet has thought of everything, making it a peaceful and comfortable retreat. We can't wait to return!"

"Très sympa "

"Beautiful area, so tranquil. Property was lovely and very comfortable. Felt so relaxed and enjoyed sitting in the lounge in the evenings, just looking outside through the double doors, so peaceful. The only 2 things I would mention is that the pool could do with just a little TLC, mainly on the floor and the freezer to have some attention to the seal. Our preference, but saying that it certainly wouldn’t put us off staying again. "

"Beautiful authenthic house in Brenne located next du Maison du Parc of the Brenne nature reserve were walks into the reserve start. Lot of lakes were birds and other animals thrive. The house has everything you need and a magnificent garden. Our dogs also liked it. For the kids the area got a bit boring after a couple of days of walking and birding as most lakes were private so we bought stuff were they could play with in the garden. The house was the old donkey house and is nicely restored....
