This was a nice resort on Zanzibar. The facilities were certainly good for East African standards. This is actually two resorts (soon to be three) combined. The reception is actually on the side called "Paradise Bay Resort," but you have full access to both sides. The pool shown in the picture is in Zanzibar Bay Resort, and is more relaxing (and shallower) than the one on the other side. The Paradise Bay one is blue, and has a 3 meter deep portion. It is also has more trees blocking the view of...

Excellent location for beach lovers , great service and clean rooms !

Very beautiful property. Everyone was overly nice. They helped me everyday and I appreciate it.

Not one complaint 10/10 everyone was nice the food was amazing great shows we loved it so much we had to stay and extra day and we were so mad we had to leave will definitely be coming back !!!!!!!!!!

We stayed at Tulia for 5 days following a safari. The resort was amazing but the best part was the staff. They did everything they possibly could to make our stay the best it could be. They were the friendliest, happiest people we have come across in our travels. The food was outstanding, with plenty of options. We had our flight get delayed and they allowed us to stay on property and use the facilities while we waited. They even arranged for us to shower in the spa before we left. One of...

This is the place to stay on the island! We had a marvelous time at the Ocean Boutique. Every single staff person has a smile and extraordinary customer service skills. They can arrange any excursions you want. Everything is kept sparkling and clean as they service your room twice a day. The food is outstanding. Chef Ali and his team serve amazing good. If you are a foodie, this is the place you want to stay. You will not be disappointed in a single thing. Thank you for taking such good care of...

We arrived just as the sun was setting and was greeted by the Guest Relations Manager, Simone, with a refreshing, white face towel and a glass of freshly squeezed juice. A welcome like this immediately made us feel special. The Managing Director, Brad, made us feel so at home, spending time with us whenever he saw us and even provided us with snorkeling gear to take along on our safari blue tour. The staff were super friendly and tended to all our needs, even providing us with some insect...

The hotel has a very quiet and enjoyable beachfront. The property is spacious so you don't feel that there are other guests. The buildings are very well maintained and the food is godd and reasonably priced. The bungalows are not air conditioned so it might get a bit warm during the very humid months (April and May). Overall a great stay. Definitely recommended !

Exceptional property, spacious water facing villas, stupendous views, attentive and smiling staff

TOA is a new facility in the as-yet unspoiled Pongwe Beach area. The facility itself is beautiful, and kept immaculately clean. The staff are unfailingly kind, helpful and efficient, and everyone greets you with a smile and warmth. The food is delicious and beautifully prepared, and the grounds and amenities are spotless and carefully maintained. The most memorable part of the stay is the staff; I cannot say enough about how kind and generous they are. I highly recommend a stay at TOA.

My wife and I spent eight nights in August and enjoyed our stay at the resort. Our bungalow was very comfortable, and if you're looking for a quiet location where you can walk without sandals directly onto the beach, this is the place. The resort does not have fridges or TVs in the rooms to add to the laidback experience. The staff was very professional and assisted us with offsite trips, shopping areas, and arranging transportation. There are two restaurants; both are very good, but our...

Very friendly staff settled in a beautiful surrounding. Great pool, and everything is so clean. We felt really looked after. How ever, it said in various sites that there is a beach here, it is, maybe 25 sq meter in total, but with no acces to the sea, there is a very large ref.

This brand new hotel is a wonder...the facilities and staff are great...the restaurant options were fantastic. Super comfortable beds and the rooms are spacious. Can't wait to visit again.
